Peter swung onto the roof he landed with a thud on his side. Peter winced he felt pain spread up his arm he clutched it to his chest. Wade collapsed beside him out of breath his katanas glinted in the afternoon sun illuminating the blood stains on the steel. Peter choose not to comment even if his stomach turned at the sight of the red on the blades.

Peter pulled his mask up above his nose he greedily inhaled lungfuls of air. They had been running from a masked villain that looked awful like Norman's Green Goblin disguise. The villain had planned multiple attacks on Spiderman and his best friend and partner in crime Wade.

The mercenary had now been made a target of the villains plans since he worked alongside the web hero. Peter had been out on patrol he was trying to help a kid get his cat out of a tree whenever the villain had dropped a bomb down scaring the cat and kid away but injuring the hero.

Wade had managed to get a slash at the Goblin when he was distracted by Peter. Wade threw the katana he had used to hurt the Goblin as he kneeled down beside Peter. "You okay Webs?" The merc asked he was looking at Peter with concern.

"I'll be alright." Peter said to reassure the other man. He winced where his costume pressed uncomfortably to his wounds. Peter once again had a ruined costume and a assignment that was due soon. Lucky him.

"Do you maybe wanna come by my place? You know grab a bite to eat and relax while playing video games?" Wade asked he helped pull Peter up onto his feet. Peter gave the man a grateful smile that he could clearly see due to his mask being halfway rolled up to his nose.

"Yeah, I'll stay for a minute while I heal then I really have to go." Peter said he groaned when he remembered the science paper he still had to turn into Connors. He followed after Wade to his apartment since he'd been there a few times since they'd started teaming up.

Wade's apartment was on the opposite side of the city. Sometimes it was just convenient for him to swing his way to the mercs than go to his own especially when he was injured like he was now. Peter didn't think about the fact that he was personal enough with the mercenary to know where he lives. Then again he guessed Wade didn't keep his identity and where he lived nearly as secret as Peter did.

Peter instantly went to Wade's couch it was comfortable and certainly more expensive than his. Peter snuggled into the sofa he ripped his mask off throwing it somewhere in the room. "For someone who was intent on leaving soon you sure are making yourself right at home." Wade said he chuckled.

"Hmm, shut up just give me a few minutes to relax and I'll be gone." Peter said not knowing if he could uphold his promise now that he was on the comfortable couch he already felt his eyelids drooping.

"We should get you out of your costume yeah?" Wade asked as he held up a Tshirt and a pair of sweatpants to Peter. Peter felt a blush rise to his cheeks once he realized he hadn't returned the last pair of clothes Wade had let him barrow.

"You're probably not getting those back. I still haven't managed to get the energy or remember to give you back the other clothes." Peter admitted he smiled sheepishly at the merc hoping he didn't care to much about the missing clothes. Peter didn't want to give them back. They were big and great to wear around when he couldn't wear his binder.

"That's okay I certainly don't mind seeing you in my clothes Sweetums." Wade said he wiggled his eyebrows at Peter. Or well what would have been eyebrows if he hadn't been wearing his mask. Peter found to ironic Wade knew his face but not his name. He knew Wade's name but not what he looked like.

Peter felt a blush come to his cheeks as he heard Wade's comment. He ignored it he really wanted to know what the merc looked like now. Wade always joked that he was ugly and unattractive. Peter blamed his curiosity of why the man hide his face to be the blame of why he wanted to see and not his heart thumping wildly on his chest.

"I'll go change. I have a question before I leave." Peter said he bit his bottom lip nervously not knowing how Wade would react to his request was making him nervous. Wade hummed oddly silent for once he waited patiently for Peter's answer. "Could I see your face?" Peter blurted out suddenly.

Wade was clearly surprised the eyes on his Deadpool mask were wide. Peter would have chuckled at the expression usually and the prospect of shocking Wade but right now he was to nervous to. "Why do you wanna see my face?" Wade asked his eyes narrowing.

Peter felt a shiver go down his spine as he saw that look. "Well you know what my face looks like so..." Peter said cutting off his rambling before it got to out of hand. Wade was silent making Peter's already frazzled nervous go haywire. "I mean if you don't wanna you don't have to." Peter said he was silenced by Wade putting his hand up in the air signaling him to stop talking.

"No it's alright go get changed Webs. I'll show you this ugly Freddy Krueger face when you get back. I suppose it's better you see what the old DP has under the mask before any real feelings slip." Wade said he motioned Peter towards the bathroom with his hand.

Peter arched a eyebrow at the man confused. Wade didn't say what he meant so with a shrug of his shoulders he walked to the bathroom. Peter sighed as he sat his binder on the sink he turned it on to wipe grime from the explosion off his face. Once he checked he was presentable he stared at himself in the bathroom mirror. "Okay let's do this." He muttered to himself.
