"Is that everything?" Ashley asked the following day. She went with Mercedes back to her house to go through all the baby shower stuff and put it away. Then, they were going back to Rebecca and Colby's for a little grill out while everyone was still in town.

"Yep, thank you so much Ash. I appreciate it." Mercedes beamed at her friend, who's basically her big sister.

"Of course sister, I got you. Are you ready to head back to Becca and Colby's?" The tall blonde asked now that they were standing up and finished with everything in the nursery.

"Let's kick it!" Mercedes beamed as the two left her home, heading towards Ashley's car. Once they were both in, they began the drive to Rebecca and Colby's home. It didn't take too long for them to arrive as they got settled in and chatting with their friends.

"You doing okay Mercedes?" Joe asked as he knew some of the stuff that was going on between her and Jon.

"I'm, I'm hanging in there." She said, taking a deep breath to keep her head clear.

"Do you wanna talk about it?" The large Samoan asked, then the two turning their attention to Colby, who was walking towards them.

"I'm just so fucking lost with everything." She sighed, the three going to the couch and sitting down.

"What's going on?" Colby asked, peeking over to see the girls were still outside.

"He's just so mean to me, so so mean." She admitted, blinking back her tears.

"Did something happen?" Joe asked as he and Colby were dumbfounded at their friend's actions.

"No, he got worse when I got pregnant. If he doesn't wanna be a dad he needs to just tell me and I'll do it on my own. I feel like that'll be what happens anyways." She sniffled, Joe handing her some tissues.

"How does he seem with the baby? Like through the whole pregnancy?" Colby questioned.

"Nonexistent and doesn't wanna be involved." She sighed, wiping away her tears.

"Alright, I'll handle it." Joe said, pissed with his friend.

"What's that mean?" Mercedes questioned, unsure of what the Samoan would do.

"Don't worry about it, you need to focus on you and your beautiful baby girl who will be here soon. Colby and I will handle it." He retorted as Mercedes nodded her head. She thanked both of them for letting her vent, hugging them and heading back outside to enjoy the day with her best friends.
