"Good morning baby! Happy first birthday Chloe Lillian! My sweet girl!" Mercedes proudly grinned a few weeks later. It was her twenty sixth birthday and Chloe's first birthday. Even though it was her birthday, she was making it all about her baby girl. She was even having a birthday party later with all of their close friends, minus Pam and Fergal since she was five weeks away from giving birth.

Mercedes couldn't wait to celebrate their birthdays. She knew it'd be a great day for everyone. It may have seemed selfish, but she did not want Jon at the party. Things were still rocky between them and she did not want him to ruin their baby girl's big day. She was excited that everyone else would be attending though. Colby, Rebecca, and Joe would be on their way in a bit to help Mercedes set up. She couldn't do much due to her being thirty two weeks pregnant now.

"Hey hey! There's the birthday girls!" Joe grinned as he came inside. Colby and Rebecca were bringing breakfast for them, so Joe was able to get there early. Mercedes grinned as she saw Joe come up where she and Chloe were before hugging them tight.

"Happy birthday to both of you." He grinned as they pulled away from their hug.

"Thank you, Joe! And thank you for coming to help set up. It means a lot to both of us." Mercedes beamed as she put Chloe in the high chair and gave her a bit of baby food.

"Of course, that's what I'm here for. How are you doing, soon to be mama to two?" He asked while beginning to set up some decorations.

"I'm doing okay! I could raise just Chloe on my own. I know I can raise Chloe and Katiana on my own too." She replied after feeding her baby girl.

Later on the day, the party was a success. Mercedes was thankful that mostly all of her friends came out to celebrate her baby girl. They also got her some gifts of course, as it was her birthday too. However, Mercedes wanted her main focus to be on her baby. She was happy that now one year old Chloe was happy all day and had a good day.

"You okay?" Colby asked after Mercedes came back downstairs from putting Chloe to bed. She seemed a bit emotional and he wanted to check on his non biological sister.

"I can't believe my baby's one now, she's a big girl now and not so much of a baby. I mean, she'll always be my baby but she's growing so quick." She giggled a bit before crying some more as Colby and Rebecca were quick to hug her.

"We're so proud of you, you're an amazing mama! You've done amazing and will continue to do amazing Mercy." Rebecca smiled as the three pulled away from their hug.

"Thank you, I appreciate that. I'm sure it's just my hormones but I cannot believe my first baby is one. I am excited to see her and Kati together once she's born and gets older though. Even though she's so little still, I know Chlo will be a good big sister too." She replied with a smile as Colby and Rebecca agreed.

Mercedes was thankful for all of the love and support she got from her close friends, who've turned into her family. Now, it was time to get ready for the arrival of baby Katiana Aurora. She would be arriving sooner than Mercedes would know it.
