"We'll be back later!" Katiana waved off as she, Graham, and Mackenzie were headed to the studio in order to prepare for the following week of their dance show. They had a lot to prove and would stop at nothing to win.

"Have fun!" Chloe smiled, waving at her two sisters and Graham. She sighed as they left, sitting back down on the couch.

Chloe was struggling mentally and emotionally. She was unsure if it was postpartum or just the whole ordeal with Jon's death at the beginning of the year. She was reading more and more information about her birth father as she got older and since she was home now. It definitely was not helping her heal from the whole situation.

"Oh my god." Chloe sniffled as she saw some more information about the relationship Jon had with her mother. She was in tears, nearly blaming herself for it. She was stopped as she saw Joe walk in, furrowing his brows at her.

"Chloe? What's wrong baby? You should be getting some rest while Sav's asleep." Joe asked, sitting down next to his daughter.

"Daddy, I'm really struggling." Her voice croaked and began to cry hard. Joe held her close to him, softly rubbing her back.

"What's wrong baby? You can talk to me. I know mom's out with Pam, but I am available if you want to talk about it." He assured her.

"It's just about with Jon. I just see and hear more and more about him every day. Don't get me wrong, I hate what he did to mom. But I wanted to ask him why. Now he's dead and we'll never get answers or even closure!" She sobbed as Joe understood where she was coming from.

"Like... is it my fault he did everything to mom?! Were they ever happy before me, Kati, and Mack came along?" She cried as he handed her some water.

"Chloe Lillian, take a deep breath." Joe ordered as she did as was told.

"It is not your fault, nor is it your sisters' fault of why he did what he did to mom. I understand why you'd feel that way, but do not beat yourself up over his actions." He said as Chloe nodded her head.

"It's hard to say wether they were ever happy together, sweetheart. Everyone has the honeymoon phase as they like to put it. Things were getting a bit odd before mom had you. Then she had you, and Jon went downhill. He's always struggled with alcohol, Chloe. We just did not know about the drug use. Those were probably the two biggest driving factors into why he did such awful things." Joe explained as Chloe listened carefully.

"So.. so it's not our fault?" She whispered as her voice was hurting from the crying she just let out.

"Not your fault at all. It's not your fault, not Kati's fault, not Mack's fault, and not mom's fault." He nodded.

"I wish I could be like Kati and not give a shit at all." She sighed, knowing that Katiana never cared nor would she about Jon and his death. To Kati, he was always the scum on the bottom of a shoe. She wouldn't even entertain the idea of ever talking to him, dead or alive.

"Don't compare yourself to Kati, Chlo. Chloe is Chloe, Katiana is Katiana. You have your own emotions and process them in your own special way. It will be okay, baby. You will heal from this and push forward. Keep your chin up princess, don't let your crown slip." He smiled, making Chloe smile as well as the two hugged.

"Thanks dad, I love you." She gave off a soft smile once they let go of their hug.

"I love you too, kiddo. Let me know if there's anything I can do to help you, but get some rest. I know you need it." He said as she nodded her head, feeling better after letting everything out and talking to her dad. Things would take time as Chloe needed to accept that in order to heal.
