One Year Later

"Dude! You're getting married today!" Pam squealed at her best friend as they were all getting their hair and makeup done.

One year had passed, as it was April Seventh. Today was the day that Mercedes and Joe were tying the knot. Once the two got engaged, they knew they did not want to be engaged for long. They wanted to tie the knot sooner than later. Today would be that special day.

They were having a small wedding near Tampa, Florida. It was during the vacation week after WrestleMania. This year, WrestleMania was in Tampa, Florida as well. It was nice to stay in one location for the week. The following day, Mercedes and Joe would head off to their honeymoon for ten days. They were going to Turks and Caicos, which both were very excited about.

They were having a small outdoor ceremony and indoor reception at a local venue in Tampa. Mercedes wanted a beautiful yet simple spring garden wedding. The colors were a few different shades of pink and an emerald green. She would have pink and white roses for flowers, filled with greenery. She was very excited to finally marry the love of her life after all the crap she went through with Jon.

"I know! I can not wait to finally be Mrs Anoa'i! Then after we come back from our honeymoon, Joe is adopting the girls!" Mercedes beamed while getting her hair and makeup done.

Joe's been wanting to adopt the girls once he basically became their father. Chloe was now four, Katiana three, and Mackenzie would be two the following month. After he and Mercedes got engaged, he got the ball rolling. The soon to be weds had to wait until they officially tied the knot. As soon as they would come back from their honeymoon, Joe would finish the adopting process for the girls.

"We are so happy for you, babes. You girls deserve all the happiness." Ashley grinned as Mercedes had Pam as her maid of honor, Ashley and Rebecca were her bridesmaids. Joe had Colby as his best man, then had Fergal and Kevin as his groomsmen. It was a small, intimate wedding. That was what the two wanted.

"Thank you! I am so excited to finally be a wife!" She beamed, shutting her eyes to finish getting her makeup done.

"Finally tying the knot today, my brother." Colby clapped his hands on Joe's shoulders as they were getting in their tuxedos for the occasion.

"Ah, yessir. The love of my life becomes my wife." Joe proudly smiled while fixing the sleeves of his tux.

"Very happy for you, brother. You both and the girls deserve a lifetime of happiness. Let's get you married!" Colby chuckled, hugging his brother tight.

"Mommy! You look so pretty!" Chloe beamed, seeing her mother in her wedding dress.

Mercedes' wedding dress was a solid white, mermaid style dress. It had the spaghetti strap style, lace silhouette going down. It showed a slight bit of cleavage, but nothing trashy. She had on a simple, natural, bronzed makeup look. Her light brown hair was in a French braided half ponytail, the rest falling in loose curls. She looked breathtaking as a bride.

"Thank you, honey! You look so pretty too!" Mercedes smiled, hugging her oldest daughter while grinning at her middle and youngest daughters too.

The three girls had matching blush colored dresses as they would be flower girls, their hair falling in loose waves. Her bridesmaids had more of a rich blush color, near strawberry blush shade. Everyone looked gorgeous and Mercedes was so excited to finally marry the man of her dreams.

After spending some more time together, everyone had to get lined up. Mercedes let them do their thing as she met up with Paul Levesque (Triple H). He was walking her down the aisle. He was basically her father and was proud to walk her down the aisle at her and Joe's wedding.
