"Hey princess, you okay?" Joe asked as he saw Mackenzie sitting in the living room of the rental home they were staying at while in LA. It was about four days until the quarter finals and it was a little after midnight. Joe just wanted to check on his daughter.

"Eh, I dunno daddy. Just have a lot on my mind." She sighed as Joe walked over, sitting down with his daughter.

"Wanna talk about it? I've noticed you struggling a bit, honey. I'm a safe person for you to talk to." He replied as he handed her a glass of water. Mackenzie took a deep breath, beginning to open up to her dad.

"I guess it's just hard seeing on social media that everyone is comparing me to Kati. I don't wanna tell her because I'm so happy for her that she's really knocking the dances out of the park. But it's hard seeing everyone compare the two of us and my flaws compared to her perfections. We're two different people who enjoy two different dance styles. Why can't that just be appreciated?" She asked as Joe was listening to her.

"I hear you, sweetheart. Don't let all the negativity get to you Mack. You are an amazing girl, with a world of talent possessed in you." Joe began, hugging his daughter.

"And guess what?" He said as Mackenzie furrowed her brows.

"What?" She asked, unsure of what he'd say.

"Just be yourself, honey. Because just Mackenzie is more than good enough." He reassured her, kissing the top of her head.

"Thanks daddy, I love you so much." Mackenzie said in the middle of their hug.

"I love you too, princess. Now, you need to get some rest as the next few days are gonna be long ones. I believe in you honey. You got this." He hyped her up as they went to bed a few minutes later.

Four days later was the quarter finals of the dance show. Things were definitely intensifying as they all had quite a few dances to perform. Mackenzie had two solos and a duet. Katiana and Graham had two duets together. Mackenzie and Katiana would be performing a duet together.

Mackenzie's two solos were very up her alley. One was lyrical and the other one was contemporary. The choreography really showed off her strengths as well, boosting her confidence.

Her contemporary solo was to the song Cigarette Daydreams by Cage The Elephant. Her lyrical solo was to the song Traitor by Olivia Rodrigo. She was very excited for her solos, as well as her duet with Katiana.

Katiana and Graham had two duets together. However, they were both very different styles. Their first duet would kick off the show. It was a quickstep jive mix to the song Pump It by The Black Eyed Peas. That would really showcase their talents in the world of ballroom dance, as well as Katiana being able to fully be herself as she was definitely the firecracker, feisty child out of all six kids.

Their second duet was lyrical, to the song I Want More by Kaleo. It was more on the storytelling side as well. It was about the two being in a relationship, but Graham would never be good enough for Katiana. He would be so in love with her, that he'd do whatever it takes to keep her. They were very excited for this storytelling performance.

The two sisters were very excited for their duet together. They've been dancing together for their whole lives. The excitement never, ever went away. Their duet would also be a mix of lyrical and contemporary.

Katiana and Mackenzie would be dancing to the song When She Loved Me by Sarah McLachlan. Yes, it was based off of the movie Toy Story 2. Katiana would be playing Emily and Mackenzie would be playing Jessie. They would go through the journey together as they showcased in the movie. The dance had extreme potential to be one of, if not the best dance. They were looking forward to it all.
