Two Months Later|October

"Alright, all the last minute stuff is bought. Got you some coffee too, baby." Joe said as he walked inside Mercedes' home from the grocery store.

"Thank you, babe. Chlo and Kati are playing and Mack's down for a nap. Wanna help me get some stuff started for later?" Mercedes asked as she lovingly kissed her boyfriend.

"You got it, beautiful. Whatever you need." He replied as they let go of their kiss.

Mercedes was having everyone over at her home for a little Halloween get together. Rebecca and Colby, Pam and Fergal wirh Graham, Ashley and Kevin would be there. They would be coming a bit later as Mercedes wanted everything to be done before they got there. She was so excited to see her friends as well.

On top of everyone coming over, Mercedes and Joe were going to finally tell everyone about their newfound relationship. They figured that everyone was already suspicious of it due to the reports. However, the two wanted to remain private for a bit. They now felt ready to announce their relationship.

"Looks like you've got another secret talent that I didn't know." Mercedes snickered as she and Joe finished the baking. She was teasing him a bit as he seemed to be good at baking.

"Maybe I do." He winked as the two shared a sweet kiss and embracing. Mercedes was so grateful for Joe. She was excited to finally reveal their relationship to their closest friends turned to family.

A bit later, Mercedes and Joe got ready while the girls napped. Once they were awake, they got them ready. Mostly Chloe and Katiana, since Mackenzie would have another nap in the midst of everyone being over. The girls could not wait to see their aunts and uncles.

"So, how are things?" Ashley asked a few hours later.

"Things are good! Very good." Mercedes beamed while sipping on some water. Mackenzie was currently taking her final nap and the girls were outside playing with Joe and their uncles.

"Is there something you wanna tell us?" Rebecca asked as Mercedes knew what she was hinting at. She knew that everyone has read the rumors and reports of her and Joe. She just wanted to take her time first.

"There is," she began with a teasing smile as the girls had a feeling of what she was going to say.

"Joe and I are dating!" She giggled as the girls squealed and hugged her.

"The rumors are true!" Pam joked as Mercedes nodded her head.

"Can we ask how long you've been together?" Ashley asked as they let go of their sweet embrace.

"Five months! We got together the day Mack was born." Mercedes proudly grinned as the guys came inside.

"We're very happy for the both of you. Mercy, you deserve all the love and happiness. I know you and Joe are very happy together." Colby smiled as he patted Joe on the shoulder.

"Thank you! And yes, we are both very happy." She replied while looking up at Joe.

"Couldn't be any better baby." He chuckled, kissing the top of her head. They were happy that their friends were supportive as well. Mercedes was the happiest she's ever been. That was all thanks to Joe.
