Khun walked down the corridor, his hand in his pocket, his gaze fixed forward. The incident that happened the other day was something that he hadn't expected. It is odd; he was convinced that everything would go well, but alas, it all backfired on him and resulted in an ending that's far out of prediction.
No, it's not like he can't predict it. Everything continued to go as planned because Baam passed the test. Regardless of the situation that occurred, the one thing that was unpredictable was Ranker's or perhaps Vior's involvement in the accident that happened.
She knows what's going to happen; hence, she personally came and hereby declared the things he might come to regret soon enough. He can't save or protect Baam, but from what exactly? What exactly is her scheme? Is he, by any chance, walking down to where she wanted him to go?
It might be possible. With her tendency to be awfully enigmatic and hide her underlying intentions, he was convinced that she might have predicted this. And he was not wrong for coming to such a conclusion, standing right in front of Vior's personal chamber in silence, his hand stilled by the air.
"I've got a solution in mind."
Khun looked up at Lero ro, hope glinting in his sapphire eyes. That response was confident and adamant, as if he was certain that this solution would get him out of this terrible situation. The things he would do for Baam were infinite; if that boy wished to bring Michelle Light with him, he'd do anything to make sure his wish was fulfilled.
"But I'm sure you're not going to like my solution," Lero ro warned. Khun wasn't entirely sure why he looked quite serious a moment ago, until that facade morphed into a small, teasing countenance.
"Just tell me what it is, damn it."
Thus, here he was, standing in silence, contemplating his life decision all over again. Is this what he meant when he said he wouldn't like his solution? He's damn right; he doesn't like it at all. It annoyed him and left a bitter taste in his mouth. Even Khun wasn't sure why this was the best solution out of all the possibilities.
