"I'd say this is a waste of time, per se." Vior grumbled and followed the remaining three cautiously from behind while they were led to their own respective rooms for the forthcoming bonus game, which was about to begin. No one, regardless of how murky it appears, would have been foolish enough to pass up such an enticing opportunity.
"No one forced you to join," Khun said. He looked over his shoulder, noting how much of a gremlin this woman was. "To begin with, you can withdraw from this bonus game and this team. It's a win-win situation for both sides."
"You only said that because you can't resist my charm." Vior chirped happily, skipping a few steps forward to match his pace. Dear Tower above, she certainly has taken quite a liking to certain ways, such as persisting to annoy one in such a manner.
Although there is undoubtedly a reason for how these two came to have this resentful relationship, she never shied away from broaching a touchy subject with anybody she came across. Nothing truly extraordinary or magical happened. The hate that formed and crept into the heart was a corrosive aftermath; it was simply a random deed with no significance or consideration for anything in particular.
Those hateful undercurrents that erupted through the height of reason — the anger that developed into anything like a competition between two people — were ludicrous to start with. It is impossible to predict if this will wind up becoming another cliché. What transpires between them might become clear with time.
