Both Aeolus and Eleena proceed together along the route of this pipe as it winds its way underground. They are on their own to find their leader and guide, regardless of whether or not they will encounter an adversary. It is bad enough that the remaining members of Sin-Ang-Ui are scattered, except for the two who are sticking to each other.
But, to be honest, it may or may not be a bit unfair to whoever faces them because one of them is an A-rank regular and the other is an exceptionally talented light bearer with five black lighthouses surrounding them both. It would be fair if the opponent had the same rank or ability as the two opponents, but the likelihood of this occurring is low.
"Are you sure this is where we should be going?" Aeolus's inquiries irritated the light bearer, who rolled her eyes.
"I get it, Aeolus. You are so accustomed to being by Xian's side that you cannot trust the guidance of a light bearer." Unfortunately for Aeolus, the woman misinterpreted his words. He did not intend to offend her in any way, but if he considers it carefully, his words could be interpreted as such.
He believes that he is to blame for this situation. Aeolus had no intention of offending her, but he cannot help but wonder why she reacted in such a manner. It was out of character for her to become easily agitated, given that she is typically indifferent to what others say, or, in other words, unwilling to listen to the opinions and words of others.
To that end, if he practices math for a while, he ought to be able to add two and two to get four, which indicates that something untoward has taken place. And he would not be surprised if something did transpire during those one-month separations. Eleena, and not Selini or Elias, was the only individual who could have returned with a problem.
Now, the most pressing issue is how he can confront this and improve the female's disposition so that something terrible does not occur to them both in this round. Aeolus is well aware that the only thing a man should never do is inquire about a woman's mood. Proceed unless you wish to incur their wrath.
