Chapter 2

Saturday, 2nd May

I woke up in the morning and both Morgan and Reece disappeared. I made my way to the kitchen to make myself something to eat and was greeted by a table full of food and my two best friends stood right in front of me. ''Happy Birthday Charlotte!'' they screamed and I hugged them. I was finally 16 and you have no idea how happy that made me as all of my friends apart from morgan were 17 which made me the youngest in the group. We spend the morning talking and at 12pm they both went home to get ready for my party. My parents organised some people to come and decorate our hall so that I wouldn't have to do any of that on my special day.

I went upstairs and had a nice relaxing bath. After I got out I brushed my teeth and blow dried my hair. When it was finally dry, I curled my long ombré hair and went into my room to do my makeup (A/N photo of the make up attached) I made my way into my closet and picked out a black short dress and a pair of nude Louboutin heels. I put on some of my favourtie jewellery and as I was putting my ring on, I heard the door bell go off. I glanced at the clock and it said 5:57 pm, wow the time has flown by. Quickly, I walked down the stairs to greet my friends at the door. I hugged them and we walked to the hall where all of the food and alcohol was. Yes, I just turned 16 but I have drank before, I don't do it very often so I guess it's not that bad.

''Before we start the party, you need to open our presents!'' Lauren exclaimed and everyone agreed.

They made me sit on the throne-like chair and they started to pass me my gifts. The first one was from Lauren and Matt. They got me the new Calvin Klein perfume I have been dying to get, a tiffany&co necklace and bracelet set and a £400 gift card to american apparel. Morgan and Bradley got me a new pair of Louboutins and a £300 gift card to Sephora. Sam and Jack got me £300 worth of MAC makeup, a new clarisonic as mine broke and a new Zara coat I have been obsessed with. Finally, Reece got me another pair of Louboutin shoes and a £500 gift card to waterstones.

''Omg guys thank you all so much! You really shouldn't have! This is too much!'' We all group hugged.

''You deserve it Char'' Matt said.

The rest of the night we spend drinking and playing games. I have the best friends in the world.

*The next day - Sunday, 3rd May*

I woke up the next day with a slight headache as I don't really get hangovers. Suddenly, I remember everything that happened last night and I chuckle to myself. I look to my left and see Bradley and Matt cuddled up next to me. I leave my bed and head to the bathroom. I take a quick shower and get dressed in a simple day dress. I make my way downstairs and start to make breakfast for everyone. I'm half way through making breakfast when I hear footsteps and see Morgan and Lauren appear from the hall.

''Morning guys!'' I exclaim and they grimace.

''How the hell do you not get hangovers?'' Lauren says while pouring some coffee for herself and Morgan.

''I don't really know. My parents don't either so I guess I'm just lucky.'' I said with a smile on my face '' Anyways, breakfast is ready so can you go and wake Sam and the boys up please?'' I ask them.

''Sure.. erm Char have you seen my boyfriend anywhere?'' Lauren asks.

''Yup, he's in my bed cuddled up to Bradley'' I say casually, our nights always end up like this.

''Why do they always end up in bed together after we drink?'' Morgan says.

''Because me and you always end up cuddling in a corner instead of being with them'' Lauren says and we all laugh. The rest of the day consisted of sleeping, recovering from hangovers and watching movies. BRING ON TOMORROW!!
