Chapter 20

The next couple of days consisted of sitting around and filming videos. Everyone managed to persuade me to make a YouTube channel and today, I was filming my first ever video.

Saturday, 30th May

Joe and Zoe helped me set up the camera and the lighting as Tanya gave me tips on how the video should be and what I should talk about. I was using Joe's equipment but was planning on getting my own when we got home. After a short while everything was set up and Joe pressed record.

''Hello my lovely friends!'' I started off and everyone smiled indicating that I did good ''This video is going to be a short introduction to my channel. My name is Charlotte Anne Paton and I am 16 years old!'' I say and everyone looks at me in terror.

''Charlotte! You're going to have to cut that out!'' Zoe says and I remember that I need to keep my age a secret.

''Sorry'' I say and continue on with the video ''My name is Charlotte Anne Paton and I come from Cambridge, England. I love everything to do with makeup, fashion and traveling. Some of you might know me from my other YouTube friends's vlogs and to answer the most common question asked yes, I am dating Joe Sugg. For my next video I would like to do a Q&A with Joe so feel free to ask any questions down below and we will try to answer them! Bye'' I say and wave at the camera as Joe turns it off.

''That was so good for your first time!'' Tyler says and I feel proud of myself.

''I will show you how to edit later on but right now, we are off for an adventure.'' Joe says and grabs my hand, taking me upstairs.

''Get changed into a comfortable pair of shoes and grab anything you might need for a long walk.'' Joe says and I do as he tells me to. We walk downstairs, say bye to everyone and we are out of the door.

''Where are we going?''I ask and grab Joe's hand.

''It's a surprise'' He says and kisses my hand. After 10 minutes of walking we arrive at the LA hiking spot and we make our way up the mountain. It was surprisingly empty and quite there.

''This is so nice but so tiring'' I say and carry on walking as I try to catch up to Joe.

''Come on, I want to show you something'' he says and carries on walking. After another 10 minutes of walking we reach a stairway which, thankfully,

went down. We walked down the stairs and we carried on walking straight until we reached a small lake.

''This is so pretty'' I say and smile at Joe. He smiles back at me and grabs my arm. He leads me towards a boat and I gasp.

''Are you taking me out on the boat?'' I ask and he nods. We get on the boat and swim out to the middle of the lake.

''I invited the guys to come here and they should be here in 15 minutes but I just needed some time alone with you.'' He says and kisses me. I kiss him back and we start making out. I still couldn't get my head around the fact that he is mine. We pull away and I am now sat on his lap.

''Joe, what will happen after we get back to England?'' I ask and he gives me a funny look.

''What do you mean?'' he asks and I sight.

''I start 6th form in September, remember?'' I say.

''Yeah I do but that won't stop us from being together will it?'' He asks and his grip around my waist tightens.

''No of course not but we won't get to see each other as much'' I say.

''We will figure something out, don't worry'' he says and kisses my forehead.

''Hey! You two!'' We hear a familiar voice shout and we turn around. By the shore stood, Connor, Tyler, Troye, Zoe, Alfie, Niomi and Marcus.

We swim over to them and get out of the boat.

''Hey guys! Where are Louise and Caspar?'' I ask and Zoe looks at me, sad.

''Louise just got a call from England that her nan is in hospital so Caspar stayed with her to cheer her up. She's flying back to England shortly and she asked me to say bye to you two for her.'' Zoe says and I smile slightly at her.

''I hope her nan is okay'' I say and we all start setting up the picnic they brought along with them. We sit down on the huge blanket and start eating the food. I eat a strawberry with whipped cream on it and everyone starts laughing.

''What?'' I say chucking.

''Come here'' Joe says, grabs my waist and pulls me towards him. I was prepared for him to go in for a kiss but instead he just sucked on my lip ''you had cream all over your bottom lips gorgeous''

''You two are disgustingly adorable'' Tyler says and Joe looks over to me again. I smile at him and lay my head on his shoulder.

''To be honest, I thought you two might have some trouble with your relationship because of the age gap but that clearly doesn't affect anything.'' Marcus says and smiles at us.

''I thought that at first but I honestly couldn't be happier'' Joe says and smiles at me. I kiss him and everyone 'awe's'.

''Right guys.. Tan and I have something to tell you..'' Jim states and everyone looks at him ''I picked my grooms men and my best man and Tanya has picked her bridesmaids and maid of honour ''

''That's great!'' Niomi exclaims.

''So, for my bridesmaids I would like to have Niomi, Louise and Charlotte!'' Tanya says and me and Niomi squeal.

''Aw Tan that's so nice of you!'' I say and Niomi and I hug her.

''Zoe?'' She says.

''Yes Tan?'' Zoe smiles at her.

''Can you be my maid of honour?'' Tan asks and Zoe starts crying.

''Of course I will!'' Zoe says and they hug.

''Aright so for my groomsmen.. Marcus, Caspar and Joe'' Jim says and looks over to the boys. They all smile and 'bro hug' Jim.

''Alfie, best man?'' He asks and Alfie says yes and hugs him.

We all sit and express our enthusiasm about the wedding when Tanya clears her throat.

''There is one more thing guys...'' Tan starts and we all look confused ''I'm pregnant..'' Tanya says and we all scream from happiness. All the girls, including me, are crying while all the boys are congratulating Jim.

''Tan omg that's amazing!'' I say.

''I am so happy, you have no idea'' she says and we all hug her again.

After sitting in the little lake spot for a couple more hours we decided to head back home as it was getting dark. When we got home Louise was already gone and Tanya and Jim announced the news to Caspar. He was just as happy as everyone else and we decided to have a party to celebrate. As Tyler, Troye and Connor were already there, we asked them to invite some people too. In an hour everyone turned up including Joey , Louis, Jenna Marbles and her boyfriend, Ingrid, Mamrie, Grace and some more of the American youtubers. As expected, I got a lot of questions about Joe and I but no one judged us which made me calm. Tan and Jim announced their big news and everyone was so happy for them. Everyone had a lot to drink, apart from Tanya, but I didn't have much as I didn't want to get drunk. At 4 am everyone got taxis home but Tyler and Troye decided to stay in the extra spare room. As per usual, I had to carry Joe up to our room and nearly pissed myself when he tripped over and face planted the bed. We went to sleep and I felt so happy about everything.
