Chapter 34

Thursday 23rd of July.

Charlotte's POV

I woke up to a big bang upstairs. Joe was still asleep next to me and I rolled my eyes at how much of a deep sleeper he was. I went up the stairs and when I reached the top of the stairs I nearly tripped over the suitcases we still haven't unpacked. I look towards the kitchen and see Alfie and Caspar looking down at 2 bottles of milk that have fallen on the floor.

''Guys what the hell are you doing? It's 9 am and you're already causing trouble.'' I say as I push the suitcases out of the way and go over to the kitchen. Thankfully, only one bottle spilled so I picked the other one up and put it back in the fridge. Alfie and Caspar grabbed paper towels and cleaned up the mess they made. As we finished cleaning up, Joe walks up the stairs.

''Hello beautiful.'' He says and walks towards us.

''Hey Joe-boo.'' Caspar says and we laugh at him. His face falls and he looks confused.

''I wasn't talking to you.'' Joe says and chuckles and then kisses me.

''Morning guys.'' He says to Alfie and Caspar and they bro hug.

''Morning'' They say back.

''Alfie you're great and everything but why are you here and where is Zoe?'' Joe says.

''Oh we came to visit as Caspar and I need to film a video and she went shopping with Gabby.'' Alfie says and Joe nods.

''Joe? You know you love me?'' I say and smile as big as I can.

''Oh god, what do you want?'' he says jokingly.

''Well I have planned to hang out with my friends from back home till Saturday and I sort of need someone to drive me to Cambridge.'' I say and kiss him.

''You're leaving me for a whole 2 days?'' He says and pouts.

''No silly! You're coming with me.'' I say and he smiles at me.

''Go get ready'' He says and I smile and kiss him again.

I run downstairs and get everything ready. After about an hour Joe and I are ready so we say bye to Alfie and Caspar and head out to Joe's car. I turn the radio on and ''All Of The Stars'' by Ed Sheeran comes on. We sing along to it and I can feel Joe staring at me which makes me feel warm inside. An hour and a half long drive and a million songs later we pulled up to my house. We got out and knocked on the door and my brother opens it.

''Joe!'' He yells and hugs him.

''Oh wow I feel loved.'' I say and walk into the house to say hello to my parents.

''Darling!'' My mum yells as she puts down her knife and hugs me.

''Hello mum. I've missed you.'' I say and she smiles.

''Oh I've missed you too! How was the many holidays Joe has taken you on? Oh and how was Croatia?'' She asks and I look at her confused.

''Mum how did you know I went to Croatia?'' I ask and she laughs.

''Hun don't you remember that we get a notification on our phones whenever your passport is used and it shows us where exactly you are flying to? We got it installed when you got your first passport just in case. Your brother has that too.'' She says.

''Oh I never knew that. I suppose it's a good thing! Yeah Croatia was great! It was so beautiful.'' I say and I smile at her. We head over to the main entrance and I see dad and Joe talking. It looks like they're having a good time.
