Final Chapter 39

Friday, 10th May 2019

Charlotte's POV

I recently turned 20 and today was mine and Joe's 4th year anniversary so he decided to take me to Paris to celebrate. Let me tell you about the past couple of years. As expected, some people have gotten involved and caused Joe and I to split up but we always got back together. We were now the Godparents of Jim and Tanya's beautiful daughter Alicia. 1 year ago they had twins. One boy and one girl. The boy was called Dylan and the girl Lilly. Zoe and Alfie got married and now have a beautiful daughter called Britney who is 2 and a half. Niomi and Marcus were also married and Niomi is currently 5 months pregnant with a boy! Caspar and Gabby got married and are currently travelling around the whole world. Louise and Matt have split up but Louise is now with Jack and is expecting a little baby boy any time soon. Joe and I? Well we are still a couple and we want to get married but we don't want to rush things. When it comes to youtube, all of our channels have blown up. We all have over 10,000,000 subscribes and we couldn't be more thankful. Joe and I were currently sat in a cute restaurant, celebrating our anniversary. 

''Let's go baby.'' He says and we get up. He pays for the dinner and we walk out of the restaurant. We walk along the cobbled streets of Paris, hand in hand and taking in the view at night.

''Paris is so beautiful at night.'' I say.

''You know where it would look even more beautiful?'' He asks and I look at him confused.

''From the top of the Eiffel tower.'' He says and holds up two tickets.

''What? But it's 9pm! The Eiffel tower is closed.'' I say and he smirks.

''Not when you're popular youtubers.'' He says and takes my hand. We go over to the Eiffel tower. When we get there we are taken to the top and we take in the beautiful sight of Paris at night.

''Joe this is so mesmerizing!'' I exclaim and he wraps his arms around my waist from the back.

''Not as beautiful as my fiancée'' He says and I turn around to face him. 

''Wait..what?'' I say and he kneels down in front of me. Tears flood my face and I put my hand over my mouth.

''Charlotte Anne Burton, I knew I was in love with you since the day I met you at Amity Fest. We have been through a lot but you make me the happiest I have EVER been. Will you do me the honour of being my wife and marry me?'' He asks.

''YES! OMG YES!'' I scream and hug Joe. I kiss him deeply and we pull away from each other. 

''I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you.'' He says and we stay in a hugging position taking in the sight of Paris.

Sunday, 29th September 2019

Charlotte's POV

Today was the day of Joe and I's wedding and I can't hide the excitement. I was currently waiting for my dad to escort me down the isle. As we walk down the isle tears fall down my cheeks when I see Joe with tears in his eyes. Once I reach Joe he holds my hands and whispers 'I love you' which to I respond with 'I love you too'

*After the ceremony* 

Everyone makes a toast and it was now Louise's turn. 

''When I first met Joe was when I first met Zoe and that was way back in 2009. Since that day and I knew that he was an amazing guy and he would treat any girl right. I met Charlotte back in 2015 at our first Amity Fest tour. Oh wow guys do you remember Amity Fest?'' She says and a few people tear up at the memories.

She then continues ''When I met Charlotte and saw the way her and Joe look at each other I knew straight away that they have developed crushes on each other. To be honest, I'm not surprised! Look at them both! Joe is extremely good looking and Charlotte is just gorgeous overall. Now guys, I just want to say how proud I am of you. You have had so many rough patches along your way but you still managed to pull through and I am so glad you did because I am certain that you will make the most good looking kids EVER! I wish you all the best and I hope you both are as happy as you can be! I love you guys!''

When Louise finished I went up to her to thank her and we both cried. 

''It's time for your first dance!'' Tanya exclaims and we go onto the dance floor. I have no idea what song Joe picked but he said that I would love it. As we stood surrounded by all of our closest friends and family, Ed Sheeran walked onto the stage that was set up on the dance floor. My mouth opens wide and I can't believe my eyes.

''Surprise gorgeous'' Joe say and kisses my cheek.

''Joe you planned this? Omg I can't believe it!'' I say and kiss him.

''This is for you Charlotte and Joe! Joe said it will bring back some memories!'' Ed says and starts singing the song whilst his band play the music. Joe and I start dancing and after the first word I recognise the song and gasp.

''This is OUR song'' I say and tears fall down my face.

''Yes it is my love, thought it would be perfect for our first dance.'' He says and kisses me. 

''It's more than perfect'' I say and we carry on dancing while we kiss. I can't believe that the tickets my parents gave me for my birthday back in 2015 would change my life so much. I still am best friends with everyone back home and in fact they are right here at my wedding but thanks to these tickets I met some of my bestests friends and most importantly, the love of my life, Joseph Graham Sugg. Forbidden love truly is the best kind of love. Although it hurts and can be hard at times, it causes you to love and appreciate your partner a lot more.
