Chapter 13

We arrived as Zalfie's at 9pm. Joe grabbed our bags and I knocked on the door.

''Charlotte! Joe!'' Zoe opened the door and was clearly happy to see us. We say hello to Zoe and walk into the living room where everyone is sat watching TV. Once they see us they turn all of the attention to us and Marcus was the first person to break the silence that suffocated the room.

''How did it go?'' He asks and Joe grabs my hand, we smile.

''It took my dad a while to convince my mum but in the end we got both of their approvals.'' I look over to Joe who is grinning from ear to ear.

''I told you everything will be fine!'' Lilly exclaims and I sight with happiness. I saw that she was sat really close to Reece. They looked so cute together.

After we put our bags in the room we were staying in, Caspar suggested that we play truth or dare. Everyone sat in a circle and the game started.

''So Charlotte, truth or dare?'' Caspar asked and I thought for a second.

''Dare'' I said and Caspar smirked. He dragged me out of the room and into the kitchen.

''When we get back in there I want you to smash this egg on anyone's head'' He says and I smirk. I blimmin' well know who my victim will be. We sat back down in the circle and I get up. Without even thinking about it, I walk up to Caspar and smash the egg on his head. Everyone bursts out laughing and he looks shocked as if he just saw a ghost.

''Wow...my prank backfired on me big time'' he says and laughs with us. Caspar went to have a shower while we continued our game. We got dared to eat, lick and smell different people and objects and asked the weirdest questions ever. It was now 1 am and we were all just sat on our laptops and chatting about random things. Suddenly, in sync, Zoe's, Alfie's, Joe's, Tanya's, Jim's, Niomi's, Marcus's, Louise's and Caspar's laptops make the same 'ding' noise. We just ignore it and continue on talking when Zoe shots up and squeals making all of our heads shoot towards her.

''What's wrong?!'' Alfie shouts out, looking terrified.

''I just got an email confirming my line up for Vidcon and my meet up plan looks great! I am so excited! Guys we are off to LA on Wednesday!'' She shouts out, very excited.

''Gosh chummy you scared the living hell out of me.'' Louise says and checks her email, as all of the youtubers in the room do.

''Oh speaking of Vidcon, I asked the Gleam Team about the house and they said that all of us are free for a month after Vidcon is finished so they don't see a problem with renting a house and staying in LA for a bit!'' Marcus exclaims and the youtube crew cheers. Deep inside I was hurt. I won't be able to see Joe for over a month and that hurts me, a lot. Morgan, Bradley, Sam, Jack, Lauren and Matt decided to go home at 2 am as they all had family days the next day. Reece stayed because his parents were out of town for a few days and he preferred to stay with us instead of being home alone. Everyone, including me, eventually fell asleep in Zalfie's living room, watching Shrek.

Joe's POV

When I read the email about Vidcon and when Marcus told us we were renting a house in LA for a whole month, a rush of excitement ran through me but there was something on my mind that worried me, I wouldn't be able to see Charlotte for over a month.

*Next day - Saturday, 16th May*

Charlotte's POV

I was awoken by gentle tapping on my head. I open my eyes to find an overly smiley Zoe stood over me.
