Chapter 32

Saturday, 18th July

Charlotte's POV

''That's it for today guys! See you again next Sunday!'' I say and Joe and I wave. We filmed a collab for his channel yesterday and we just finished filming the one for mine. I turn the camera off and turn to Joe who is sat on his bed and playing with his phone.

''Any plans for today then mister?'' I ask and sit on his lap.

''Yes actually, Lucy, Lydia and Victoria are coming over today because they need help from Caspar with their trip to South Africa and they just want to hang out at our apartment for a bit.'' He says and I shrug. I get off of his lap and walk up the stairs as the doorbell rings. I open it with a smile and see Victoria stood right in front of me. Our smiles drop at the same time and I roll my eyes.

''Caspar! There's someone for you at the door!'' I shout and roll into the kitchen ignoring Victoria. Caspar comes up the stairs and smiles at me then turns to the door.

''Hey Victoria! Hey Lucy! Hey Lydia'' He says as he hugs all three of them.

''Char, these are Victoria, Lucy and Lydia! Girls this is Charlotte.'' He introduces me to them and I hug Lucy and Lydia but avoid Victoria.

''Lovely to meet you two girls! Nice to see you again Victoria.'' I say and smile a fake smile. I liked Lucy and Lydia but I couldn't stand Victoria. Not after the party anyway. I make my way down the stairs and text Gabby to come over ASAP on my way down.She said she was on her way anyway.

''Baby they're here'' I say plainly and he gets up from his computer, grabs my hand and drags me up the stairs. He greets them and when he hugs Victoria I can see a smirk grow on her face. I just ignore it and talk to Caspar. The door opens and Gabby walks in. She says hello to everyone but Victoria and kisses Caspar.

''Gabbs, can I have a word about...emm...the new video I'm filming next week?'' I say. She nods and we make our way to Joe's room.

''What's wrong?!'' She asks panicked ''Your text seemed urgent''

''Victoria.'' I say and she rolls her eyes.

''What has she done to you?'' She says in a 'I feel you' tone.

''You know the party last Wednesday? Well, she pulled me over to the bathroom and said to keep away from Joe or she will call the police and accuse him of statutory rape.'' I say and Gabby gasps.

''What a fucking bitch! She's the reason Caspar and I broke up before.'' She says.

''Oh my fucking God!'' I say in disbelief.

''Yeah, she started to stir shit up and Caspar believe her over me which hurt, a lot, but I'm over it. All I'm going to say is whatever you do DO NOT let her intimidate you. She has her tricks.'' She says and I nod. We walk back upstairs to see Lucy, Lydia and Caspar sat on the sofa whilst Victoria was practically sat on Joe who was sat in the armchair. He looks so uncomfortable.

''Off'' I stay sternly and her laugh fades into a grimace.

''I'm just chatting to Joe'' She says innocently.

''I said off'' I repeat and she rolls her eyes as she leaves Joe's lap. I replace her and he wraps his arms around me.

''Thank you'' He whispers in my ear and kisses my cheek.

''I love you'' He says more audibly.

''I love you too'' I say and kiss him.

''Joe do you remember when you called me your girlfriend on your one of your vlogmas vlogs and everyone shipped us? It's a real shame that didn't happen'' She says and winks at him. I follow Gabby's advice and ignore her pathetic comment whereas Joe snaps.
