Little demon 4

Third person POV

"So it's Venice's birthday in two weeks?" Tankhun asked excitedly.

"That's what Pete told me, Kinn replied, unsure of what to expect from the brother standing in front of him right now.

"That's just great. I had wanted to throw a party these past few weeks which I couldn't so I guess I'm going to do it now." Tankhun said as he made his way to sit comfortably on the couch.

"What do you mean by that?" Kinn asked.

"Didn't you understand what I just said? What I meant was, I will be throwing Venice a party here in the main house." Tankhun states in a happy tone.

"I know you love Venice but that's just crazy." Kinn tried to reason with his eldest brother.

"Even if Pete and Vegas want to throw a party, you seriously think they are going to have it here in the main house?" He questioned.

"It's not like they have a choice. Vegas better agree to this else, I'm taking Pete back. I already didn't like the choice Pete made choosing him. My sweet little Pete suddenly turned into a different person. He had better agree else I'm burning down the minor family house." Tankhun said as he made his way out of the room, leaving a shocked Kinn all by himself.

"What the hell is wrong with him? This craziness is going too far." He sighed and retired to bed.

Vegas POV

Venice and I finally got home and retired to the bedroom. I guess he's sleeping with me tonight. I can't run to his room like Pete does whenever he cries so it's better if he stayed with me.

"Bro, you're back." Macau entered the room.

"Hey, when did you get back? I asked.

"It's been a while now and how did babysitting your little demon go? I can see you are both calm." He looked fondly at Venice playing on the bed with his toy.

"Surprisingly, we've been cool today. I'm still not used to the sudden change." I honestly replied. I have to bathe a human you please get me some milk so he takes it after it's done?"

"Okay, I'll do that, Macau replied before exiting the room.

"We need to give you a bath buddy."I made my way over to him.

I attempted lifting him off the bed but he ended up kicking me in the chest instead.

"Ouch!" Can you just obey me for once? I thought we were finally getting along?" I rubbed the spot he hit.

"Could you please let me bathe you? It's getting late now." I tried lifting him again and this time, he grabbed a fistful of my hair and started pulling on it.

"Venice what is wrong with you now? I don't care what you do, we are bathing now." I said firmly before carrying him off the bed, paying no attention to his resistance.

Aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh!!!

He begins to cry. He cried so loud which made Macau run back into the room.

"What's happening? He asked looking very worried and confused.

"I tried convincing him to take his bath and he refused but there's no way I'm delaying it any longer.

"What the hell, bro? You couldn't even take your time with him?" He asked annoyed.

"What should I have done? I'm not used to this."

"Don't worry, leave him to me. I'll bathe him." Macau says before taking Venice from me and making his way into the bathroom.

The little demon suddenly stopped crying.

"Wow, just wow," I said sarcastically as I made my way to lie on the bed.

My phone rang and I knew it might probably be Pete. I pulled it out and it.

"Hey, how's Venice?" He asked.

"Macau's giving him a bath," I replied, looking nowhere in particular.

"Why didn't you do it? I thought you were both cool today?" He sounded surprised.

"Don't get me started Pete, it almost turned into a bloody fight here and I would have been the dead one if not for Macau's intervention." Pete was laughing so hard at my situation.

"It's funny?" I asked, sounding hurt.

"Sorry I laughed, Vegas, but was he playing with his toy when you decided to give him a bath?"

"Now that you mentioned it, he wasn't having the toy then. I think It had fallen off the bed. But wait, what has that got to do with this?" I asked curiously.

"Venice has mood swings just like you Vegas." He looked at me with a mischievous smile. "You both are so hard to deal with. Just because I don't complain doesn't mean I don't get worked up sometimes. When we say you two are so much alike, that's the truth." He looked at me like I was some kind of idiot for not seeing it.

"So how do you bring him back when he suddenly gets moody?" Curiosity was getting the better of me.

"Well, I sometimes dance or sing to him. I dance most of the time though. He laughed so hard when he saw me like that. 

"What the hell? I could never sing much less dance. You are too much Pete." I shifted on the bed.

Macau finally came back with Venice and he was all dressed up. They made their way over to the couch and Macau begins to feed him. Took a while before they were done and I was still on a video call with Pete, talking about how the deal was going on his side.

"We will sign the deal tomorrow morning which means, I'll be returning right after we're done here".

"Really?" I asked excitedly.

"If I don't get home as soon as possible, I might come to meet a burnt house." he teased.

"Hurry back, Pete, I miss you," I admitted it because I do.

"I do too," he replied before wishing us goodnight and hanging up.

I walked into the bathroom to take a shower and was done in no time. I got out and to my surprise, Venice was already asleep.

"How did you do it?" I asked surprised.

"You need a lesson or two from me, bro." Macau winked at me.

"I guess I do." I flashed him a smile.

"Should he stay in my room?" Macau asked but I wasn't about to let him take Venice away.

"I think I'll take it from here." I took Venice back from him.

"I'll see you tomorrow, bro. Have a goodnight." He says before making his way out.

I carefully placed Venice on the bed so I don't wake him. I covered him up and got under the sheets with him. He's so cute even in his sleep. I got closer to him, running my hand through his hair.

"Can you forgive daddy for what happened today?" He couldn't hear me but I will make it up to him tomorrow.

I placed a gentle kiss on his forehead before finally drifting off to sleep.
