Seated comfortably in the room were Venice and Macau. Macau was busy texting with his phone with Venice quietly staring at him, trying to figure out whom he was texting. Macau took a glance at the kid and gave him a wink. Venice sighed and picked up a book to read. He felt his big brother wasn't fun to be with today.
Venice was fed up and finally decides to break the silence lingering around. "P'Macau, who are you texting? You are so happy that you ignore me" Macau finally focused on the kid. "Uhhh...it's just a friend kiddo."
Venice wasn't buying his answer. "You smile so much just because of a friend? I bet it's a lover." The boy laughed, making Macau's jaw drop. "You know how smart I can be."
Venice was smarter than his age and his family was well aware of this fact. Macau finally decides to let cat out of the bag. He walked over to Venice and plopped down on the bed beside him.
"You have to keep this a secret okay?" Venice nodded and Macau continued. "There's this boy am trying to win over and I think he's giving me his attention. He is the son of our business partner." Macau finished while lightly pinching the boy's nose.
Venice tilts his head sideways, looking at Macau. "Why are you looking at me like that Kiddo?" Macau couldn't help but ask. "Well, I'm thinking I should spill the beans to Daddy and Pa. You are getting a boyfriend so I should tell."
Macau's heart jumped at this. No way did he want Vegas and Pete to find out about this. He was now trying to get the boy who was also their business partner's son. He hasn't even succeeded yet so there's no way he was going to let them know.
"Kiddo, you have to keep this a secret between us okay? They definitely cannot find out about this. Not yet."
Venice crossed his arms over his chest. "No, I will tell. This is interesting news and besides, I don't hide anything from Pa and daddy. I'll tell." Venice quickly got down from the bed, about to run out when Macau caught him, bringing him to a stop.
Macau figured unless he strikes a deal with this little demon, there was no way the kid will listen to him. "Why did you stop me?" Venice asked with a frown. "200 baht for your silence. What do you say?"
The boy's eyes lit up with excitement at the mention of money. "That's too little P'Macau, 300." Macau couldn't believe the kid.
"Deal." He agrees and Venice kissed him and excitedly runs out of the room for dinner, with a stunned Macau, following behind.
Venice hurriedly descends the stairs and skips to the kitchen where he happily greets his parents. Pete with a kiss and Vegas, a high five. Macau quickly helps Pete set up the table and they all settled down to eat.
"Pa. " Venice suddenly calls out. Everyone focused their attention on the kid whose mood was suddenly different from before. "How about Parent's day tomorrow? The kids will be coming with both their parents."
Pete forces a smile. "Uhh...your daddy will be busy tomorrow so I guess I'm the only one going to make it."
The boy pouts and shakes his legs. "But I need two parents to be present." His eyes were sad.
Vegas couldn't take it anymore and finally speaks. "I can reschedule my meeting and go with you guys. You will have both parents buddy."
Venice finally became excited because they will both be present. He looked over at Macau. "P'Macau, will you like to join us? It'll be fun." Macau who couldn't say no to Venice as usual was more than excited to join.
