It's not a surprise the whole house was loud. It's finally Venice's birthday today.
"Pete, you are taking forever in the bathroom." I was almost done dressing up. This is so unlike me to get dressed this much for an event. Pete was taking forever to get out of the shower with Venice.
"Would you keep your cool? It's a birthday celebration and no need to get nervous like it's our wedding." Pete replied, exiting the bathroom with Venice.
"You are something Pete, there's no way I'm going to get nervous the day I marry you." I winked at him.
"We'll see about that." He sits Venice on the bed.
"Are you excited about today, buddy? I asked the Little demon.
"Daddy!" He giggled as he crawled his way over to me.
"Come back Venice, we need to get you dressed up," Pete says, bringing over his clothes.
"Why did my cousin pick out flowery clothes for the kid? He has weird tastes." I looked at Pete.
"Honestly speaking, you're the one with no taste, Vegas. These clothes will look good on him." He picked Venice up and begins to dress him.
"Wow, he looks good I must say." I admired the kid's pretty looks after he was all dressed up.
"Will you do me the honors of taking you down to the party?" I asked bowing to Venice.
He looked at me wide-eyed and suddenly burst out laughing. I made a pout and he finally made grabby hands at me and that was my cue. I picked him up into my arms and also took Pete's hand in mine and we made our way downstairs.
The house was more packed than usual and I must say, I was not used to this. I spotted Macau with Chay and he had the same look on his face as Venice and I. We were not used to the crowd.
All my cousins were present and some of the bodyguards from the main family were also present.
"There comes the family," Porsche said as soon as he saw us. He was with Kinn as usual and Kinn had a neutral expression on his face.
Macau made his way over to us and stood next to Pete.
"That completes the family." Kinn chucked down his wine. I did not bother to reply to him.
"Hey, Venice." Porsche stretched out his hand to touch him but the kid slapped his hand away and wrapped his arms around my neck. I couldn't help but laugh at what just happened.
"How could you raise a child to look exactly like his dad?" Kinn asked, looking at Pete.
"Sorry, Khun Kinn... he's just not used to this much crowd." Pete defends.
"Why do you care if he looks like me? He is my son and not yours." I glared at Kinn.
"Forgive me for saying this but you three look like you were forced by Pete to come down here. And by that, I mean you, Macau, and Venice. You all have the same expression on your faces." Kim who has been silent all this while finally spoke up.
I wouldn't argue this point because the three of us are introverts and not used to the crowd but did he have to point it out like that?
"Shut up, Kim... I said back.
"What the hell is wrong with all of you?" Tankhun screamed. It's a birthday ceremony, not a place for your petty arguments and fights. I will not let any of you spoil this today. You have no idea how hard I worked to get this done." He finished.
Everyone went silent at his sudden outburst.
"Let's begin, shall we? He says and everyone nods without further arguments.
Tankhun placed a blue cone-shaped birthday hat on Little demon's head with the inscription '1' written on it. I smiled as Venice's expression begins to change. He's adjusting now.
"What's with the theme though?" Pete suddenly asked Tankhun.

Tankhun's decoration for Venice
"Don't you get it, Pete?" Tankhun asked back but he got no response from Pete. "Think about it." He make his way over to where the cake was.
Looking at the decoration, I understood what Tankhun meant. Venice indeed was a boss baby. He began to jump in my arms as soon as he saw the balloons and boss baby decoration. I knew it.
"You love being a boss, huh? Pete said, kissing Venice on the cheek.
"Gather around everyone," Tankhun spoke and we all made our way over.
We're all singing Venice the birthday song then proceed to cut the cake.
As usual, he led the song and everyone followed. Finally done with the singing, It was time to cut the cake.
"Make a wish, little pumpkin." Pete urged Venice. He helps close the kid's eyes.
"Will he make a wish?" I asked.
"He definitely will, Vegas."
Pete held Venice's hand and in a few seconds, they were done. I was wondering what they just did.
"Blow out the candle now buddy," I said to Venice and he was excited. He tried blowing out the candles but the air coming out of him was just not helping.
"Let's do this together," Pete announced and the three of us blew out the candles.
"Happy birthday buddy." I kissed him on the forehead and he did something that surprised me.
"Daddy." He called and suddenly kissed me back on the forehead. I gasped at the action and he giggled.
"How about me, pumpkin?" Pete asked with a pout and Venice kissed him on the forehead as well.
"Now I'm jealous," Macau uttered which made everyone laugh.
It's time for your gifts everyone." Tankhun announced and the number of gifts brought forth was overwhelming. Everyone brought forth their gift except Kinn.
"Don't tell me you came to the birthday of your nephew without any present?" I asked curiously.
"Hold your horses, Vegas. I did not bring a gift with me but I do have a present for my nephew."
Everyone was ready to hear what it was.
"Happy birthday Little nephew, Kinn said. "My gift to you is...
What the hell is he keeping us all waiting for?
"A birthday vacation and we are all going so get ready everyone, we leave tomorrow!"
