When Nick showed up to work, he was surprised to see Chris waiting at the front door for him. He was more confused than surprised, but he was more focused on finding out why Chris is here.
"Chris? What are you doing at my job?" Chris gave the older a soft smile as he turned to face him.
"Because one of the girls you work with is hot, and I want her number." Nick then glared at Chris for his comment.
"Absolutely not." Chris's smile then formed into a pout.
"Come on. Why not?" Nick then sighed, already irritated by this conversation.
"1. Because they are my friends and 2. Because they are both 21." Chris then smirked.
"Age is just a number, besides we're 18. It's legal." Nick then rolled his eyes, before trying to walk past him, but of course Chris stopped him. "Please Nick! I won't bother you for anything else!"
"You say that and then you always bother me for something else, so pass." Chris then sighed softly, before giving Nick the puppy dog eyes.
"Please Nick! Please be my wingman on this!"
"If I do then what do I get out of this?"
"To be the best man at our wedding." Nick was dumbfounded by his brothers words.
"You've never talked to this girl, won't even ask for her number yourself, but yet you're already thinking about marriage?" Chris then nodded vigorously.
"You never know Nick! She could be my true love! The one I was meant to find! It could be like what they right about in all the love songs! Our love could be one for the story books!" Nick was still dumbfounded by the bullshit coming out of his younger brothers mouth, but shook his head to bring himself back to reality.
"Which one are you talking about exactly?" Nick asked in confusion.
"The one with dark hair, gorgeous eyes, and the most perfect pale skin I've ever seen." At this point Nick could have sworn he saw his brother's eyes twinkle.
"I'm assuming you're talking about Mak." Nick replied as he pulled up a picture and show it to Chris. He then nodded his head vigorously.
"YES! That was the gorgeous fair maiden that came to the house last night! I must have her!" Nick then rolled his eyes for the hundredth time over his brothers stupid comments.
"If you want her number then never call her a fair maiden again." Nick replied in a neutral tone. Chris then held his hands up in defense.
"Sorry." He muttered in a soft tone. "But can you get me her number? I would appreciate it." Nick then nodded, reluctantly which caused Chris to pull him into a tight hug. "I KNEW YOU LOVED ME!"
"Let go of me, before I change my mind." Chris then released Nick from his death grip, before blowing Nick a kiss.
"Love you, bro." Chris replied before skipping away. Nick then silently regretted his decision to help his brother.
