I shriek. I feel a hand grip on my shoulder.
"Get off me!" I yell whilst jumping up.
"Cassie calm down! It's me, Andy" I look across to see Andy looking at me concerned. I sit back down.
"Where are the others?" I ask.
"Gone to find a doctor. You gave Jaz such a fright! Jaz called up Stacey and we were here in minutes! Are you okay?" He asks. Tears start to soak my eyes and slide down my face.
"I don't know. Andy I'm scared." I admit.
"Is there something you know that you're not telling us?" He asks. I look at him and can tell he truly cares.
"It's...it's..." What do I tell him? About my dad or my dreams? Or even the favour from Mia?
"You don't have to tell me" He says.
"I know, I just need to think which one to tell" I admit.
"Okay, what are the options?" He suggests.
"My dad or dream?" I offer. He thinks about it for a while.
"You're dad, I don't want to know how you dream about me" He jokes. It makes me laugh.
"Basically with my dad, he is coming over in two weeks." I start.
"And that's a bad things because..."
"Mum can't cope with me so he's coming over to pick me up and take me away." I look down. Andy has gone quiet. He puts his hand on my shoulder.
"Cassie, do you want to go?" He asks. I sniffle.
"No I don't but, I can't keep ruining my mum's life like this. I can't do it to her, or Justin" I admit.
"Then stay. I know it won't be easy but you can spend most your time with us so it's easier for her." He suggests. Just before I can reply, I spot Stacey, Drake and Jaz behind Andy's shoulder with a doctor.
"Here they are. Andy, you can't tell them!" I beg him.
"I promise." He says. He turns around and waves at the others. I wave after poking my head past him.
The others start to run over with the doctor. Andy stands up. Once they get here, they stand away from me and the doctor kneels in front of me.
"Hi Cassidy, I'm Dr Kay," She starts, "your friends told me that you keep passing out. Are you on any sort of medication?" She questions. I shake my head.
"Do your family know?"
"Yes. I'm fine now, just need a glass of water, that's all" I reassure her.
"Okay, I'll buy you a bottle of water and I'll give you a number to call me on if you need me again." She says whilst standing up. She goes to the food stand to buy some water. I don't dare to look at the others, I'm too ashamed to be honest.
"Here you go" Dr Kay says whilst handing over the water. "And here's a number. Lovely meeting you, bye" She says whilst walking away.
"I'm sorry" I say whilst looking down at my hands. They come over and sit around me.
"It's okay," Stacey tries to reassure me, "we were just worried about you." They all look at me with pity in their eyes.
"Anyway," Andy starts, "shall we go on the beach then?" He suggests. I look up and smile.
"Yes, let's not ruin today anymore" I say whilst getting up. Jaz links onto my arm and smiles at me. I smile back. I turn around to see the others following and messing around like their normal selves.
"Jaz?" I ask
"Yes?"
"Before I passed out, I saw someone who wasn't there..." I start.
"Okay...what has that got to do with me?" She asks.
"She told me to tell you to hurry up for your father's sake and to tell me what I don't know..." I look at her and her facial expression has dropped. She looks as if she has seen a ghost.
"Jaz?"
"Who told you this? Tell me!" she demands.
"Her name was Mia" I hear her start to sniffle. I comfort her and signal the others to give us some time.
"See you Monday then!" Stace calls out whilst pushing the boys away.
"Is there something you're not telling me?" I ask her.
"We need to go to somewhere where no one will find us"
"The old docks" I tell her.
"Lead the way" She says.
