Sundays. Good as it means no school and mums at work. However, it means school tomorrow. I clamber out of bed and head downstairs to be greeted by the smell of burnt toast.

"Sorry Cassie," Justin spoke, "I tried to make you and me some breakfast but..." he points to the mess.

"Went wrong?" I said. He nods and looks down. "Want me to make you some pancakes?" I offer. I see him brighten up. He jumps for joy and starts to get the ingredients. We've made pancakes for ages together and Max would join in as well. Mum always works so I tend to look after Justin sometimes or he's with his friends. We make one hell of a mess in the kitchen but the pancakes we worth it. I hear my phone buzz but I ignore it. It buzzes again a few minutes later.

"You going to get that?" Justin asks with his mouthful. I lean over and grab my phone to see who's eager to speak to me.

2 new messages.Aren't I popular. One's from Jaz and the other is from Drake. I decide to see Jaz's message first.

Hey Cassie. There is still more I need to tell you. Mainly about why you. I'll tell you next time I see you! Hope you're better.

Yeah, why me! I decide not to text back as I'm seeing her tomorrow. Next message: Drake

Cass, please call me. I need to be sure that you're okay after yesterday! Call me ASAP!!I smile to myself.

"Is that from Drake?" Justin teases. I kick him under the table. "Ow!" he complains.

"Ha! No help tidy up!" I order him. He sticks his tongue out at me and I do the same back. He starts to put all the plates in the dishwasher and dance to the radio. I laugh at him.

"You're just jealous of my moves!" He jokes. I laugh and shake my head before heading upstairs. Once upstairs, I call Drake. He picks up after 3 dial tones.

"I thought you were never going to call"

"Yeah well I thought as you asked so nicely..." I hear him laugh on the other end of the phone.

"Are you okay after yesterday? You left in such a rush I thought something had happened." The fact that I saw the man that is trying to get me on his side and kill Jaz's people is something I'd run away from. Drake wouldn't understand.

"Yeah, I wasn't feeling very well..." I hate lying to him.

"Well I hope you're feeling better now."

"Yeah I am. You want to meet up later? I ask him. I close my eyes and regret asking.

"I can't sorry, I have somewhere to be. Plus it's 1pm! Maybe next time?" I stay silent for a second too long.

"Yeah...next time."

"Bye Cass!" I hear him say before he hangs up.

"Bye Drake" I say afterwards.

For the next few hours, I sit in front of the TV trying to pay attention but I end up dozing off.

"Well, well, well, I was wondering when we were going to meet again here." He teased. He's kneeling over me and that's when I realise I'm lying on the floor in someone's house. I guess it's him. I sit up fast and get light headed.

"Can't believe you ran away like that yesterday! And before we got to say hello!" He says. He's sitting on the sofa now and I turn around to seek a way out.

"Maybe because I didn't want to say hello!" I fight back. He shakes his head.

"I'm disappointed in you Cassie"

"Why would you be disappointed?"

"That is for another time" he teases. Before I had the chance to say anymore, he disappeared with the rest of the dream. I wake up sweating on the sofa with the telly still playing. Justin is leaning over the top of the sofa looking down at me.

"Are you okay?" He asks. I smile as best as I can. "Mum just called and she's now on her way home to see you...I told her you didn't look to good" he admits. "Sorry".

"It's fine Justin, I would have done the same." I reassure him. "When will she be here?" I ask. He looks over at the clock behind his shoulder.

"Any minute now I think." Oh great.

Just as Justin said, mum came home within minutes. The thing with mum, you can always hear her before you see her.

"I can't leave you out of my sight now can I?" Her voice echoes through the house. I'm sat in the kitchen drinking a cup of coffee. I leave it on the table and head to the lounge to find her standing there in her work suit with her arms crossed.

"Well, it's not like I can help it!" I fight back.

"I know that sweetheart but, it's just seems to be getting worse." She says whilst getting out her phone.

"Who are you contacting?" I ask. She doesn't look up at me.

"Your dad," She says, "I'm going to get him to pick you up and take you back with him sooner." My jaw drops to the other side of the world.

"What, NO!" I yell. "It's my choice if I go with him or not!" Mum sighs.

"I'm sorry Cassidy but, I'm not going to argue with you." With that said, she leaves the room to call dad. Before I had the chance to react, my phone goes off. It's Stacey.

Hey!!! There is a party tonight at Orlando's! You're coming whether you like it or not J I'll pick you up at 8:30pm. BE READY! xoxo

Oh great, a party. A party where I'll stand out like an eye-sore and just end up leaving early like always. Stacey never notices me anyway. I check the time, it's 4:30pm. Great, I have 4 hours to get ready.
