Tommy sat, staring at the ceiling. He couldn't sleep. His mind kept going back to Tubbo. Maybe Tommy was too harsh on Tubbo. On Ranboo. Maybe he should apologize. But he kept telling himself that all this was Tubbo's fault. Tommy's loneliness, and the suicide attempt he had... suicide? Was... was Tommy really trying to kill himself? Tommy didn't want to die... but he had just tried to kill himself. Why? Was Tubbo really that important to him? So much so that if he lost him, he wouldn't want to live? If he lost him... he already had. From what he said. Tubbo never actually left him. They were still friends... he just had to ruin it. All of it.

Tommy shook his head and went downstairs to the kitchen. He couldn't sleep so might as well eat. Once he was down there, he saw a pile of random things on the counter. He looked at the pile and saw a letter. It had the name 'Technoblade' on the front, with an address underneath it. Tommy looked at the address, and then a thought filled his mind; what if he went to Technoblade's house? What if he convinced Techno to come back home? Make his dad happy...

Tommy grabbed a pen that was sitting on the counter and wrote the address on his palm and set the letter back down. He went upstairs and closed the door behind him. Should he really go? Where would he get the money? And he would get in so much trouble... but it would be worth it. It would be worth seeing his dad smile... wait. Has he ever even seen Phil smile...?

Tommy kept himself from overthinking that last thought and went into his closet, grabbing a few shirts and one pair of pants. He put them on his bed and grabbed his backpack. He unzipped the two main pockets and started taking everything out quickly. He did this as quietly as possible, not wanting to wake up Philza. He then shoved the clothes in there, and then went back downstairs to grab a loaf of bread and bottles of water, just in case. Tommy then ran back upstairs and put those things in his backpack. He zipped it shut and then stood up. He then realized that what he was doing was stupid. It wouldn't work. He might get stranded. He might die. Techno might not recognize him. But Phil is so sad without him... and Tommy can't bear going back to school tomorrow. He just... couldn't.

Tommy bit his lip and let out a shaky breath. He then made a plan in his head:

Hide all the school stuff scattered on the floorSneak into Dad's room and grab his wallet and take out all the cashGo back to sleepPretend to go to the bus stop but really go to the train stationFind Techno

This plan seemed awfully easy... but it was worth a shot. Tommy started picking up his school shit and shoved them into his closet and closed it. He then walked quietly over to Philza's room he opened the door extremely slow. He then crept into the room and picked up Phil's wallet. He opened it and grabbed all of the money and placed the wallet back in its place. He then walked out of the room and closed the door behind him softly. He quickly walked over to his room and shut the door.

Tommy counted the money. 50£. Tommy was relieved that his father carried so much cash. Tommy stuffed the money into a smaller pocket of his backpack and then sighed. He calmed his heart rate and laid back in bed. He closed his eyes and tried to think of nothing, but it was hard.

Tommy awoke to his alarm. He yawned and stretched. He got up and picked up his backpack. But something was off-it was unusually light. Tommy took it off and opened it, to make sure he had everything. Then he realized what he had done last night. Tommy zipped his backpack back up and swallowed the knot in his throat. Was he really going to do this? Was he really going to run away? Well, now was the time to decide. Should he stay and have to face Tubbo and Ranboo, or should he find Technoblade and bring him back home to make Phil happy? Well, the latter seemed like the better option right now. So, Tommy decided that he would do this. He would run away. Er, not run away. He would come back. With Techno.

Tommy took a breath and left his room, walking all the way downstairs. He saw that his dad's room was still closed, which was good. Tommy went downstairs and took an apple out of the fridge. He then decided he should get going since the nearest train station was at least a 2-hour walk away. So, Tommy placed his bag on the floor, ran upstairs, and put on a red and white tee-shirt and black sweatpants. He then grabbed long socks to avoid blisters and ran back downstairs. He then grabbed a piece of notebook paper and wrote, 'Decided to go over to Tubbo's this morning! Don't worry, I won't miss the bus I swear!!' and he then grabbed shoes out of the closet. He slipped on his walking shoes and headed out the door. It was still dark outside, but that meant no one would see him, hopefully. As Tommy walked down the street he got out his phone and looked up where the train station was. He opened google maps and saw that it was much farther away than he had thought it would be.

"Welp, an early morning walk never killed anybody!" Tommy told himself happily, trying to lighten the mood. It didn't work.
