Technoblade sat at his desk chair, wondering how on Earth he would find George. He hadn't seen George in years. And how would he get George to follow him back? To Dream? Maybe he was a little ambitious when he offered this plan to Dream. But he needed that damn revival book. He needs his mother back... he needs her. He didn't know who he was without her. But... she didn't know who he was. She knew a sweet, carefree little boy. Not some emotionless medieval loner.

Just then, Techno heard a knock on his door. He swallowed and shoved his thoughts away. He made his way to his front door. He wasn't expecting anyone, and the village was pretty reserved. Handouts and door-to-door treks didn't really happen around there. Techno didn't mind the unexpected visit, though. He was quite bored with his thoughts, and his thoughts weren't exactly pleasant.

Techno reached for his door handle and twisted it. He opened the creaking door and looked toward a blond male with blue eyes. His hair was messy, almost curly, and he was wearing several layers. But the top layer was a sweatshirt that had his old basketball team logo on it. It was worn and the same colors: maroon and yellow.

"T-Techno?" The boy stuttered. Techno looked at the boy and somehow couldn't shake the feeling he knew him. He had seen those eyes. That messy, golden hair. He had seen him before. But where?

"Um... yeah. Who are you?" Techno said, making his voice a little deeper to sound a little more intimidating.

"Tom Simons... your brother..." The boy said, looking downwards. Techno stopped breathing for a second. What was he doing here? And where was Phil? Or Wilbur? Why was he alone?!

"I... came to... uh..." He looked back up to Techno and his eyes went wide like he saw a ghost. He started breathing quickly and backed up a little, and was sweating despite the cold air surrounding him.

Reality was hitting Tommy. He had run away from home just to find his brother and bring him back with him. But what if Techno wouldn't come? What if he wouldn't even give him money to go back? Tommy didn't have enough money to make it home. He would get stranded out here. He would die in the bitter cold of the night.

"What are... why are you at my house? Alone? Is Phil with you?" Techno asked. Tommy gulped. How could he explain this?! Why did he do this?! He barely even knows Technoblade, and he traveled 13 hours to see him?? What was wrong with him?! Why was he so fucking STUPID?!

"H-hey, come inside Tom. You don't look well." Techno said. Tommy couldn't move. He couldn't think. He was being stupid. Stupid, stupid, stupid. He was the dumbest person on the damn planet! Why would he fucking do this?! He was going to die! He felt like he was dying. He could barely breathe.

Techno then grabbed him by the arm and pulled him into the warm house. Tom, however, was still shaking.

"Are you okay...?" Techno's voice was a little less harsh than it had been a second ago. Tommy couldn't answer, he couldn't even breathe. But he wasn't okay. None of this was okay. He had run away and was nowhere near his house. And his dad was freaking out and probably called the police. He was going to be in so much fucking trouble.

"Tommy... just calm down, okay. Just tell me why you're here." Techno said. Tommy swallowed hard and took a couple deep breaths.

"I came to ask you... to... c-come home... with me..." Tom said slowly. Techno just looked at him. Tommy couldn't tell what his brother was feeling. He didn't want to know. It must've been bad. Techno must just want Tommy out of his house. Gone. Back home with his dad.

"Wait... come home with you? Singular you?" Techno asked, his eyes widening. Tom nodded slowly.

"Hold on. Wait... so you... you're here alone?! Wait, how'd you even get here all alone? Does Phil even know you're here??" Techno's voice became louder, and Tommy backed away from him. Tom noticed how Techno called his dad by his first name.

"N-no... he doesn't. I... r-ran away... this morning..." Tommy stuttered out.

"WHAT?!" Techno yelled.

"I... I didn't know w-what to do! Dad's sad and Wilbur left and I didn't know what to do, okay?! I thought that if I brought you home he would be happy again! I'm sorry!" Tommy blurted out. Tommy was crying now, but he didn't try and stop. He didn't know what to do.

"You came out here and risked your life to bring me back just to make Phil happy...?" Techno said with confusion. Tommy covered his face with his hands and continued crying.

"He's just been so sad all the time... he cries every night and... I..." Tommy said, still crying.
