Tubbo ran out of his house, just like every morning, and to the bus stop. To his surprise, though, Tommy wasn't there, waiting for him. Tubbo then thought about yesterday. Maybe Tom was just angry with him. Or maybe his dad didn't want him to come to school. There was a clear explanation, but Tubbo still felt a little guilty. He hadn't realized that Tom was so... depressed. He wasn't sorry for making a new friend, he was just sorry that he failed to see Tommy's real feelings. Tubo used to be so good at knowing when Tommy was upset.
The bus pulled up and Tubbo got on it and sat in the front seat, where he and Tom usually sat. It had been a while since Tom hadn't come to school. Tubbo forgot how lonely he used to be when Tommy wasn't there with him. Now he started thinking about how lonely Tommy must've been after he and Ranboo became friends. Tubbo did admit, he stopped inviting Tommy to things, and instead invited Ranboo. But it wasn't personal... or was it? To tell the truth, Tubbo stopped inviting Tommy to things because he didn't want to make Tommy a third wheel. Tubbo and Ranboo had started dating a few weeks ago, and Tubbo didn't want to tell Tommy. He was afraid Tommy would stop being his friend. In return, though, he just stopped being friends with Tom...
"Hey, f-ggy! Where's your boyfriend gone? Oh wait, did he successfully kill himself last night? Unlike yesterday?" It was Colten. Tubbo shrank in his seat and looked out the window. How did he know? Was he going to tell everyone else...?
"God, Colt! Shut the fuck up!" Tubbo then heard Davey. He seemed angry.
"Huh? What, you gay too or some shit?" Colten said, sitting back down in his seat.
"So what?! Just leave him alone!" Davey said. Tubbo felt a smile creeping up his face. Colten's own friend just stood up to him...
Tubbo got off the bus and walked into the high school. After he walked inside, he saw Ranboo standing in the lobby of the school. Tubbo walked over to him, and Ranboo seemed really awkward.
"H-hey," Ranboo said, "Is Tommy okay?"
"He wasn't on the bus this morning. I can call him." Tubbo said, taking out his phone. He clicked on the contact named 'Bigman Tommy'. He hadn't been the one to write that, Tommy was the one who changed his name on the boy's phone. He waited as the cell phone rung and rung, and then Tom finally picked up.
"Hey, Tommy. You're at home, right? Or did you miss the bus?" Tubbo asked his friend.
"Uh... I'm at home. And um... l-leave me alone. Don't talk to me..." Tommy seemed unsure of his words. Like he didn't really want to be mean. Tubbo was still hurt by the words, but he also felt a little bad for his friend. Tommy then hung up and Ranboo looked at Tubbo.
"He's... still mad at me." Tubbo said, "And he's at home."
"I'm... I'm really sorry for ruining your friendship... I understand if you want me to-"
"No! You didn't ruin it, I did. He and I both did. You had nothing to do with this, I swear. And I really like you... so, let's keep dating and stuff. Tom and I can make up. We've had fights before. J-just not as bad..." Tubbo said the last part softly. He then grabbed Ranboo's hand and the two walked towards their first class together.
Tommy was tired as hell. He had finally made it to the train station. He was still trying to forget the call he had gotten from Tubbo about half an hour ago. Tommy was now standing in line to get tickets. He had looked up where the closest stop was to Techno's house and then figured out the route he would need to take. He was getting his first ticket currently, and he was close to the ticket seller. He took out the money he had put in his pocket and then he was in front of the ticket seller.
Tommy was about to ask for the four tickets he would need, but then the seller said, "Sorry, we cannot let children under 16 ride without an adult." Tommy looked at the man and pretended to be confused.
"Oh, well, I am 16, sir," Tommy said, trying to be convincing. The truth was that he had just turned 15 about a month ago, but maybe he could fool the seller.
"Oh... I thought you were 13... um... yes, sorry about that. Where do you need to go?" The ticket seller seemed to be embarrassed, but Tom could care less. He actually fooled him. Maybe this trip wouldn't be all that hard...
Tommy told the man the tickets he needed and then thanked the man. It ended up being around 30£, more than Tommy had expected, but that was okay. He wouldn't have enough money to go home, though...
"Thank you. Er, where is platform 7?" Tommy asked.
"Just that way. Have a safe trip." The ticket seller said, pointing behind him.
"Thank you," Tommy said, fighting the urge to say 'you too'.
Tommy walked off, placing the other 3 tickets he would be using later in his pocket. He walked quickly since the train would be leaving in around 10 minutes. But Tommy was able to find the platform quickly and was able to get situated comfortably before the train started moving.
Tommy was a bit nervous. He had never been on a train before, and he had no idea how these things worked. All he knew (or hoped) was that he would be seeing Technoblade soon. Er, not really all that soon, actually. Tommy calculated the time it would take to get to Techno's house, and it turned out to be around 13 hours. Though Tommy got up early, it was currently 10 am, meaning he would get to Techno's house at around 11 pm. And god knows when he would get there if he missed his train at one of the stops. Tommy had realized how close the ticket times were to each other after he had gotten them. He would probably have to run as soon as this train stopped.
The train he was taking currently would only take 2 hours, the next two would be 3, and the last one would take 5 long hours. But Tommy was ready.
