Within the Mirror Chamber, many boys from different lands were whispering excitingly to one another. The lanterns were lit up for the ceremony. They were freshman and had been sorted into their dorms for the next four years. "We're done with orientation and dorm assignments?" A short red headed boy with gray eyes asked. "All right, new students— let me be clear. At Heartslabyul House, I am the law. Break the rules, and it's off with your head!"
A tall boy with long brown hair, bright green eyes and lion ears covered by his hood yawned. "Well, that ceremony was as boring as ever." He said. "I'm going back to the dorm. If you're in Savanaclaw House, follow me."
"New students!" A boy with light gray hair and eyes the same color as his hair behind a pair of glasses said. "Allow me to be the first to congratulate you on your achievement. As dorm leader of Octavinelle House, I am honored to have the opportunity to support you in what I hope will be a fulfilling campus experience."
"Hey, does anyone know where the headmage went?" A tall boy with blonde hair and the ends dyed purple with purple eyes questioned. He was very handsome to look at. "He disappeared midway through the ceremony..."
"Some headmage he is." Someone said from a blue, floating tablet.
"Maybe he had a tummy ache?" A boy with white hair and ruby red eyes said. The door slammed open and in walked Crowley and you. You were looking at everyone in the room, most of them looked masculine and some looked feminine. You really couldn't be sure until you heard them speak.
"I most certainly did not!" Crowley said.
"Ah, speak of the devil." The redhead boy said.
"If you must know, I was searching for the new student who'd failed to show for orientation." The headmage turned his attention to you. "You are the only one who has yet to be assigned a dorm. Step up to the Dark Mirror, and be quick about it. I'll watch your weasel."
"He's not—" You were interrupted as Crowley had pushed you a little to the mirror. Grim let out a muffled growl for being called a weasel. You walked up to the mirror and felt your soul leave your body when you saw it. It looked like the same mirror you saw before you woke up here!
"State your name." The face in the mirror said.
"I'm (Y/N) (L/N)." You mumbled.
"(Y/N) (L/N), the nature of your soul is..." It went quiet, it's eyes widening before glaring suspiciously at you. What's going on? "...unclear to me."
"What did you just say?" Crowley asked.
"I sense no magical power from this girl. Soundless. Colorless. Shapeless. Utterly vacant. However, I sense something else from her, a strange yet unique ability. Therefore, no dorm would be appropriate." Whispers broke out in the room, all of them sounding shocked from the news. 'It can see my quirk!' You thought, staring at mirror with a surprised expression.
"Are you suggesting that the black carriage went to receive a girl who cannot even use magic? TO AN ALL BOYS SCHOOL!?" Crowley said. "But that is absurd! The student selection process has not erred once in its century of existence!"
"Wait, this is an all boys school?!" You said, looking at Crowley with wide eyes. Your head moved so fast to look at him that your hood fell down, revealing your face fully to the crowd. The headmage could only nod at your question, still surprised about this.
"How could this have happened?" He mumbled to himself. 'Oh great. I'm dead!' You thought.
It was then that Grim took the gag off his mouth. He gasped feeling relief that he was free. "ME!" He yelled. "Let me have her seat!" He broke out of Crowley's grasp and raced to the front of the room.
