Work Study Disaster

It all started as a normal day. You had woken up and got ready for your work study you are doing during winter break. You had decided to go with Midoriya, Bakugo, and Todoroki to Endeavor's agency for it. You had no idea where you should go and the red-white haired male had offered. Deciding you had nothing to lose, you agreed. The previous hero you worked under dropped you off like chopped liver when finding someone with a better quirk.

You were staying in your room in the agency and making any adjustments to your costume before leaving. Your costume consisted of a black shirt, black pants, and black ankle length boots. Your costume had (F/C) accents, like along the sleeves of your shirt and pants and of the soles of your shoes. On the center of your shirt was a silver star with smaller silver stars surrounding it. You slipped on the black jacket before leaving. Then things went on.

Everything had been normal. The four of you struggled to keep up with the pro hero as he sped along through the streets. You used the silvery dust to fly through the air by using it like jets coming from your hands and feet. At times, you would create a small step mid air to jump further into the air. Usually, Endeavor would already be done with fighting crime or preventing accidents when you four arrived but not this time. The villain was firing bright beams at the pro and he kept dodging them. "Be careful with this one." The flaming hero said. "His quirk sends other people to unknown places. Don't get hit." He knew that using his own quirk wouldn't be helpful. The flames would end up somewhere else and he can't risk anyone getting hurt because of his flames.

"Yeah, yeah." Bakugo said, jumping into action. The explosions were enough to distract the criminal and for Midoriya to pin him down to the ground. The greenette thought he had the villain under control but he was wrong. He only had one hand pinned against his back and the other on the ground. The villain looked up and slowly lifted his hand, pointing the palm at Todoroki. A bright light started glowing from the palm before turning into a beam, heading towards him. Your eyes widened seeing the sight.

"Shoto! Move!" You yelled, running towards him. You had to beat the beam. You arrived just in time and pushed him out of the way. He fell to the ground in shock and looked up in time to one of the worst sights of his life. "(Y/N) look out!" He yelled. You saw a bright light heading towards you. You didn't even have time to move before the beam enveloped you in its grasp. A bright flash enveloped the area for a brief moment before it gone with you as well. They only stared at shock at the area you had once stood.

Todoroki was the first one to snap out of his stupor. He stalked towards the villain, a cold look in his eyes. "Where is she?" He asked when he came to the villain. "Where did you send her?"

The villain let out a laugh at the boy's question. "Why does it matter?" He asked. "Where she's going, she won't have a chance."

"Why is that?" Endeavor asked as Bakugo began screaming curse words at the villain.

"Because where she's going, heroes won't last long."

When you came to, it was dark. You looked around wondering if it was a dream. "Deku?" You called out, your voice echoing throughout the dark. "Bakugo? Endeavor?" No response. "Todoroki?"

Still there was nothing. You gasped realizing that nobody you knew was around. 'Keep calm.' You thought. 'If you freak out then things could be worse.' You activated your quirk and when you made enough dust, created a small stick to illuminate the area better. You began walking in a random direction, hoping to come across any signs of life. Then you saw a bright green light. You ran towards it, tossing the silvery dust stick aside. You were surprised to find a mirror with bright green flames within the glass.

"Ah, my dear esteemed benefactor..."

You jumped hearing a voice. "Who's there?" You said, looking around for the source. You saw nobody around so who is talking? It doesn't make sense. Is someone using their quirk to trick you?

"My proud, beautiful flower of evil."

"What? Evil?" You questioned. This can't be right, you're supposed to be a hero! Not a villain. Something isn't right about this.

"You are truly the fairest one of all."

Your confusion grew by the second. What is going on here?! Where did that quirk sent you?

"O magic mirror, thy wisdom I entreat...
Reveal unto me the visage I seek..."

You watched in horror and fascination as the image in the mirror changed. The green flames were gone, being replaced by a carriage. It was ebony colored, with lanterns being lit by green flames on the front. The horse pulling it was the same color as the carriage, even holding a lantern in its mouth. It was heading towards a castle. You could see a couple of words engraved onto the metal gate but can't make out what they are. Just as it appeared, it vanished being replaced by the flames again.

"You whose image the Dark Mirror did beckon forth...
If your heart bids it, take the hand of the one reflected in the mirror."

You jumped back when a hand replaced the flames. It had moved out of the glass and waits for you to grab it. You could see the hand change in size, shape, and skin color. After a moment of hesitation, you took the hand. Its grip on yours was firm yet gentle. You let out a yelp as it pulled you into the mirror.

"As flame reduces even the stars to ash.
As ice seals away even time itself.
As great trees swallow even the sky."

You briefly caught images of regular fire, ice shards, and leaves as the hand dragged you further into the mirrors realm. Exhaustion was creeping up on you the further you went. Nothing about this was making sense.

"Fear not the power of darkness.
Now— demonstrate your power."

A bright flash came over the area, temporarily blinding you. Your eyes began heavier by the minute the longer you fought the tiredness. You closed your eyes, feeling sleep over take your body.

"To me. To them. To yourself.
The hour grows long, and time is scarce.
Keep steady your grip, no matter what may come...
Never let go of my hand."
