After some time training, you rejoined the three in some card games and other sleepover shenanigans. They decided it was best to not question you on your life back home, sensing that something about your dad was hard to talk about. When bedtime rolled around, you let Ace and Deuce fight over who got to sleep on the couch and who got a mattress that you dragged out from another room. You slept on one of the other couches that you cleaned before hand.

You were dreaming about something that you couldn't quite recall until the dream changed. As before the mirror in your room glowed and rippled and you were once again in monochromatic maze. 'Another dream?' You thought as you looked around. That's when you saw the Queen of Hearts herself, holding a rose bush angrily and the girl and cards kneeling down besides her. Parts of the queen's dress and the heart on her scepter were the same shade of red as the roses. "For painting m roses red, someone will lose his head!" The Queen of Hearts yelled.

"Y-Your Majesty, if anyone's to blame, it's him!" The Trey of Clubs said, pointing to a fellow card.

"Have mercy, Your Grace!" The Two of Clubs begged. "It was the Ace!" He pointed to the accused.

"So it was you!" The Queen of Hearts said.

The Ace of Clubs gulped. "No, it was the Two!" He said, pointing at him.

"Then he will pay."

"It was the Three, I say!" The Two of Clubs said.

"Enough of this. Off with all their heads!"

More cards came and dragged the three away. You ran and tried to grab the ankle of the Two of Clubs but your hand just went through it. There was nothing you could do as you listened to the other cards cheered and the Queen laugh. "A fitting end." The Two of Diamonds said. "Color, you can't mend."

"Everyone knows the roses should be red." The Three of Spades said. The scene vanished as quickly as it came, leaving you in darkness once again. 'But they're just roses!' You thought. 'You can always grow more!' You know why no one would try to stop the Queen. Fear can silence the innocent.

"(Y/N), wake up." Deuce said, lightly shaking your shoulder. "The Unbirthday Party is today. If we're late, well, you know..."

Your eyes opened as you stared at Deuce. "Oh right." You said sitting up on the couch. "The party is today." Then a knock was heard, making the two look at the door.

"Sounds like you have a visitor."

"I thought it was the ghosts." You got up and went to open the door. You let the guest in, leading him to the lounge.

"Good moooring!" Cater said when he saw the freshmen. "Did you all enjoy your sleepover? Did you bond over pillow fights and card games?"

Ace yawned. "Oh, good morning Cater. We did play card games and have a pillow fight yeah. (Y/N) was brutal during that so we stopped after five minutes. We only played Old Maid, cause that was the only one Grim knew how to play."

You snickered, remembering Ace begging for mercy once you, Deuce, and Grim ganged up on him. Grim groaned in frustration. "And I still got the old maid every time, dang it!"

"Let's just say Grim doesn't have a very good poker face." Deuce said.

"It's best to agree on that." You said.

"Well, you should get one of the tarts we made yesterday and go apologize to Riddle." Cater said. "And you should probably hurry, because after the trouble yesterday, we're a little short handed."
