"I'm tired" Kat says

"Stay awake we are almost to the hospital" I say

" but I need to sleep" she says closing her eyes

" Kat!!! no" I say.

"What is it?" Luke asked. I could see the horror in his eyes.

" Kat just passed out" I say beginning to shake her

" Kat, Wake up!!! Please wake up" I say but she doesn't open her eyes.

When get we got hospital I carry her bridal style. The doctors saw us and took her immediately. Luke couldn't say anything

"Mate, it's going to be okay" I say.

*3 days later*

I had just got back from getting clothes from home. I gave Luke Kat's black tank top that had white writing that said I CANT EVEN. I wore one of her beanies and her WHAT WOULD JESUS DO bracelet.

After we changed we walked back into her room. Kat had to go through surgery because her organs were damaged. She has been out for 3 days and I'm scared she won't wake up. I walk in to see moving her leg back and forth like she does when she is In pain .

" Kat?" I say running over to her. She opens her mouth but before she could say anything she grabs the side Chase hurt.

"It's fine you don't have to say anything...it's going to be okay" I say grabbing her hand.

She just nods. I look over to see Luke in tears and when Kat sees Luke she shakes her head and then begins to cry.

" Luke, it's okay!! she's okay" I say then I look over to Kat.

"You were unconscious for 3 days.Luke and I haven't left" I say.

she nods then looks over at Luke and motions Luke to come to her. He does as he is told. When he gets over to her she tries to move over

"No don't move" Luke says . She looks at him with the look that says I do what I want. I run to her side and help her.She winces at the pain.

When she is over she pats the spot next to her. Luke lays next to her and pulls her close.

" I love you" he says.

She responds to him in sign language and says I love you. She then looks at me and signals me to come. I walk over to her and she pulls me into a hug.

" I love you to" I say in her ear.
I walk away and call Calum .

"Hey what's happening?" I hear him say

"She's awake so you guys come down okay" I say. Then I hear a scream.

"What's wrong? what's happening" I say becoming scared

"Dessie over heard and she became super happy so We'll be there in 30" he says

" k bye" I say hanging up.

I walk back into.the room to see the doctor.

"Hello doctor what's going on?" I say closing the door

"Well.... Kat will not be able to do a lot of things for a little while for example she won't be able to talk comfortably for a few weeks so I suggest you don't talk Ms. Summers" he says looking over at her. She nods her head

"Okay so what about school?" I ask

"Well she could be home schooled or do online schooling " the doctor says. I look at Kat and see Calum.Kat has a little bit of all of us in her and calum has always wanted to drop out so maybe we will.

"Okay sir, thank you! so she is bed ridden till she is fully recovered? " I ask

" yes, at least for a month because she was injured severely" he says

" okay...thank.you" I say. he nods then walks out.

After he leaves Calum,Dessie,Dylan, Lily and Chris walk in. Dessie runs over to her and hugs her really hard.Kat let out a painful scream and begins to cry

" I'm so sorry" she says

" well how about I take you all outside and tell you the details" I say pushing them all out leaving Luke and Kat together.

"What's happening? " Lily asks

"Well she is bed ridden for a month maybe more and she can't talk for awhile and lastly I'm taking her out of school" I say waiting for a retaliation.

"Why" Dylan asks

"Well she can't do anything for awhile so I'm taking her out and I will be going to school for the first half then going home to take care of her" I say

" I want to stay and help but it have to leave... can I go see her really quick" Chris asks

"Yea " I say moving out the way.

As Chris walks in I see Kat is still crying.

"Can you take me out of school?" Mikey asks

" No... I'm only doing it for her and the only way This schedule is working is because I only have 3 classes" I say fixing my beanie

" okay....." mikey says.

When Chris walks out I walk in to see Kat in tears and Luke is upset.

"What happened" I ask.

"He came in and told her how stupid she was fighting him and if she didn't fight him she wouldn't be like this " he says.

I look to see Kat leaning over the side of the bed. She looks sick. Then she throws up on the floor.

" I need a doctor" I scream. Then it hear a familiar voice

"Eww that's nasty!!" I turn to see Jack. Her ex-friend. He was a jerk to her when she first moved here. I walk over to him and push him

"Are you kidding me???? She was beat up and you want to say that to her" I say as I press him against the wall

" Dessie ,baby, please help me" he says

" no" she says then cralum butts in.

" baby??? she's mine dont you even" he says as he smacks Jack.

" stop" Luke screams. I turn to see nurses running into the room and Luke looking at us with anger filled eyes.
