chapter 19

I'm on stage in front of a million people who are screaming and clapping for me.

" this song and the next are for Luke hemmings...I can't lift the weight and I'm sorry ,but you left me with scars that need stitches " I say.... then I begin to sing the songs the weight and stitches.

I wake up looking for Luke. He is sitting next to me

"Hey you okay?" He asks . I shake my head.

"Okay" He says. I grab his phone and type.

"can I change into my sweat pants and your tank that says you complete me? " then I pass it to him. He reads it

" yea.... they are both right here" he says passing me a wad of clothes. Thank you I mouth.

" no problem" he says.

I change into grey sweats with black outlined tribal print and Luke's black tank top that says you complete me. I sat back down after I changed because all the standing me light headed. I texted Luke to come back in. When he got back in I was sitting with my knees to my chest And my back against where the back of the bed sat up completely.

"Hey" He says. I just wave and smile.

" wanna watch a movie or something" he asks I shake my head yes and spell out THE CROODS . He was confused at first then he caught on. He found it and put it on. He pulled me close and kept his arm around my shoulder.
When the movie was over I looked over to see Luke dosing off so I texted calum and told him to come get Luke and take him home. Calum came in and woke up Luke.

"What mate" Luke says squinting as he trys to adjust to the light.

" I'm gonna take you home to get some rest" Calum says helping him up.

" but Kat needs me here and I don't wanna leave her" He says looking at me. I motion him to the door.

" this was her idea  and she will be fine the doctors are here and so are the other boys and Lily and Dessie" calum says

" I'll text you" he says walking over to me. He hugs me and kisses my forehead.

" bye princess" He says. I wave at him.

When they are out of the room I get a text. I look at my phone to see Luke already texted me.

L: hey...
K:didn't take you long to txt me
L:nope.... don't wanna stop talking to you
K:well I want you to sleep
L:I lived on 4 hours of sleep the 3 days you we out
K:that's why you need to sleep... babe please listen to me
L: I will..... when I get home
K: no now.... sleep in the car please
L: as much as I love you I'm not going to
K:you sure about that
L:yea...... love you princess hemming
K : love you too
L: i miss you
K:miss you
L: xoxoxox

I just stopped texting him hoping he would stop and fall asleep. I was wrong.

L:hello????
L:you okay
L:please answer
L:this isn't funny
L:Kat...please....
L:I'm coming back to the hospital
L: okay..... no I'm not Calum won't turn around..... consider yourself lucky

Finally they stopped coming. But as soon as I get him off my back everyone else comes in my room and talks to me and asks me questions even though I can't talk. I buzzed for a nurse to come. When she entered she asked

" Ms. Summers...are you okay?" I wrote on a dry erase board

make them leave..... only Ashton and Calum can come in

She looked at me then said

" everyone out!!only family allowed and the closest family being Ashton and Calum" she says.

When they are all out she closes the door.

" thank you" I mouth to her.

" no problem... would you like Ashton in here?" She asks. I nod yes and she opens the door and pokes her head out

" Ashton...Kat would like to see you now" she says. Then I see a tall boy in sweats and a my little pony shirt walk in. I wave and pat the empty spot next to me. He smiles his dorky smile and then waddles over to the spot.

"I'm surprised you wanna see me right now" He says. I look at him confused then write why wouldn't I? He reads then looks at me

" nothing,  don't worry bout it lets just hang out" He says smiling. I smile and nod in agreement.

*1 hour later*

Ashton and I watched different movies. He got me a mocha frappee and he called Luke for me saying that we were alright but Luke didn't sound exactly happy. After awhile Calum came to join us.

" hey girly" he says as he hugs me with one arm.

" so I guess you don't like anyone right now do you" He says sitting down. I write

well everyone wants to play' lets ask the girl that can't speak 50 million questions ' and its really annoying so I told the lady only you 2..... is Luke okay?

He reads then says

" yea as soon as he hit you guys bed he was out and I understand" he says. I try to speak

" wanna... walk...the...halls?" I ask slowly because of the pain

" yea" Calum says helping me down from the bed I walked barefoot because the tiles coolness felt good.

Half way down the hall I had to sit down because I became so light headed.

" we should head back " Ashton says

" yea, I promised Luke I would keep you safe and watch out for you so" calum says.

I shake my head in agreement. Calum picks me up bridal style and carries me back to the room.
