I walk back inside and try to act like I don't have to make the biggest decision of my life .
"Is every thing okay? "Ashton asks .
"Yea...So, Um...What are we doing today?" I say .
"I think we should go talk" he says pulling me up the stairs .
When we reach his room he closes the door and look at me .
"what happened on the phone?" He asks. "
I got a call from the University of Florida asking if I was going to use my scholarship for the upcoming semester" I say looking down at the floor so I wouldn't see his expression.
"Are you gonna take it?" He asks. I could hear the excitement mixed with hurt in his voice .
"I don't know ... I said I'd call back with my answer" I say. Ashton sits next to me and says
"take it.... Do something like with your life ". I look at him and begin to cry.
"Its not that easy ... I just got Calum and now I'm gonna leave next week to a place that is 2,702 miles away " I say . Ashton looks at me with tears forming in his eyes.
"I would hate to see that beautifully ,smart mind not go to where she's the happiest. That being school" he says wiping tears of my cheek.
"Ashton, I don't" he cuts me off
"take it!!Don't worry about us. " he says.
I walk back downstairs and walk outside to get air.
"Kat... What happened?" I hear a voice say. I turn around to see Jade.
"I'm most likely going back to Florida with you" I say.
"As exciting as that sounds why?" She asks walking up beside me .
"Remember that scholarship I got before I left ?" I ask
"yea" She says sounding confused.
"They called asking if I was gonna use it. And I probably am " I say.
"Woah, You're gonna leave Calum behind?" She asks .
"what else am I supposed to do?" I ask .
"I don't know but when does the new semester start?" She asks
"two weeks... I will be leaving at the end of next week."I say . And with that I walk back inside.

When we get home I stay distant from everyone. I go back and forth between Calum or school . Do I wanna stay here with Calum or be a college grad? I want both but I can't have it. Calum would tell me to go even if he didn't want me to. I grab my phone.
"Hello?" A familiar voice says.
"Hi, This is Ms. Summers, I will be using the scholarship! I will be down next week"I say.
"Okay....welcome to the University of Florida".
