Twenty Nine

The group of friends decided to go out to a bar at the local town. It's not far from where they're staying but they decided to go out before the kids get there and they can go snowboarding.

They walked in and immediately soft music filled their ears played by a live band on a small stage.

"I'll go get drinks." Amelia said.

"I'll go with you." Crystal said.

Everyone else tried to find a table and they managed to find one in the back corner. Jax slid his arm around the back of the seat behind Maggie when he noticed a few men glancing in their direction.

"This place is nice." Amanda said. Maggie agreed. Crystal came back over with a tray of shots and Amelia had a few beers in her hands.

"Gimme gimme." Maggie reached for the shots eagerly.

We all threw back a shot then a few of us grabbed beers. Maggie grabbed one as well and not gonna lie, i didn't see her as beer person.

"So, did you find out what happened to Elisa and Danielle?" Nick asked Amanda who had been doing a bit of stalking to figure out where they went. Just to make sure they can't do anything to Maggie.

"Don't speak them into existence." Maggie groaned.

"I'd rather not talk about my ex when I'm trying to enjoy a weekend with my girl." he huffed. She smiled and kissed his cheek.

"Just saying, that bitch needs to get what she deserves." Nick said.

"Yeah but karma will get back to her." Maggie shrugged then turned to Amelia to speak up conversation.

"Here's your drinks." a bartender came over to them.

"Um, we didn't order these." Crystal said.

"Those gentlemen over there did." he pointed at three men sitting by the bar. They smirked at the women making them all scrunch their faces up.

Jax clenched his jaw in anger and briefly stood up.

"Jax, please don't do anything." Maggie told him.

"I'm not gonna do anything." he stretched his arms back letting his shirt slip up to reveal the gun tucked into his waist band.

The men at the bar quickly turned away and went to another table. Jax smirked and sat back down beside his lady.

"Are you serious?" she scoffed.

"What?" he shrugged innocently. She giggled and kissed him softly making him smile.

"Oh I love this song!" Crystal suddenly jumped out of her seat. "Come on!" she pulled on Maggie and Amandas hand. Amelia laughed and leaned into Ryan.

This song was a bit more upbeat and when the girls got onto the dance floor all of the guys eyes widened when they started quite literally throwing ass on each other.

Damn Maggie can get down. Jax thought to himself.

Jax' eyes never left her as she seemed to more than enjoy her time with her friends.

"You're not gonna join them?" Connor asked Amelia.

"I-I could never do that." she laughed motioning to them. "They're killing it and they look hot but I'm not much of a dancer."

"It's okay honey. You don't have to." Ryan kissed her forehead. She smiled up at him.

Amelia is for the most part very modest and not in a bad way at all. But unlike Maggie, Crystal, and Amanda who will shake their ass in public with strangers (like the queens they are), she prefers to enjoy her drinks while watching from afar.
