Maggie
After our trip back home, Jax spent about a week with us before he had to fly out to Italy for something. I was currently working in the bakery when I got a phone call from Jax.
"Hi my Italian Stallion." I smiled hearing him chuckle on the other line.
"Hi angel. I just wanted to check in on you." his voice made my heart flutter.
"I'm doing good. Sams surgery is two week away, so I'm just trying to prepare for that." I sighed.
"How's he doing?" he asked.
"He gets tired easily. I'm scared of taking him to daycare because I know he'll want to play with his friends but I don't want him to get hurt." I said glancing out of the back kitchen to the small booth in the corner where the triplets were drawing in coloring books.
"I'm gonna try to get back before it." Jax said.
"It's okay if you can't. I know you're caught up in your big boss stuff over there." I said trying to make light of the situation.
"Listen Maggie, we lost my dad. Theres signs that he's still here in Italy but I just want you to be careful okay? Masons gonna be checking in on you occasionally until I get back." he said making my heart drop.
"You don't know where he is?" I asked.
"We're unsure if he led us here or not. But just stay safe okay?"
"Okay I will." I nodded. "I'll talk to you later okay?"
"Bye bellesa, I miss you. Tell the babies I miss them." I could practically hear the sadness in his tone.
"I miss you too Jax. Bye bye."

Maggie was going through her usual nightly routine after putting the triplets to bed. She was brushing her wet hair out when she heard a noise outside the house. She furrowed her brows, knowing her family was home alone right now.
She walked out of her room downstairs and saw the front door in her line of sight. Her heart beat sped up when the doorknob started moving. She quickly ran to her room and scooped Sam up from the bed.
she went into her closet, unlocked her safe and pulled her gun out before leaving the room. She ran upstairs to Mikey's room where him and Emmy were sleeping. She wanted to have a sleepover with her brother so that's why she's in there. Maggie grabbed have key from the top of the doorframe and locked them inside the room. She kneeled at the door and aimed her gun at it.
Glass shattered downstairs and she knew that her window had been broken. She pulled out her phone and called Jax. He didn't answer the first time but on the third call he finally answered.
"Angel?" he mumbled sleepily.
"Jax, someone broke in my house." she spoke trying to keep her voice steady.
"What?" his voice was much more alert now.
"They broke a window I don't know where they are." she whispered.
"Masons on his way." he said. She could hear him stand up and shuffling on the other side of the call.
"Mommy?" she looked back and saw Mikey sitting up in his bed. This caused the two others to wake up as well.
"Okay." she took a deep breathe hearing crashing from downstairs. She looked back at her kids and thought of an idea.
"Come here all of you." she rushed them to the closet. "You sit in here and you do not come out no matter what okay?"
"Maggie what's happening? Are they okay?" Jax asked.
"They're okay." she gulped when the door knob started jiggling.
"Mama." Emmys eyes welled up.
"I love you three, now please stay quiet." she kissed their foreheads and stood back up, aiming at the door.
She could hear the muffled voices in the other side.
"Maggie look, is there a window in the room?" Jax asked.
"Uh yeah." she mumbled out.
"Is there any way you can get out?" just as he asked this the door was kicked down making her jump. She heard the triplets shuffling in the closet. "Maggie?"
"Who the hell are you?" she spat at the man in front of her. He smirked at her raising his own gun.
"sei più carina di come hanno detto" he looked her body up and down. (you're prettier than they said.)
"Get the hell out of my house." she grit out.
"Sweetheart, you have no idea how special you are." he walked closer to her. She continued aiming her gun at his head.
"Maggie get out of there." Jax's voice came from the phone.
"Is that Knightly?" the man smirked. "I'd hang up if you want to make it out of here. Your little kids too."
Maggie took the safety off her gun.
"Do you even know how to use that?" he asked smugly. Maggie gave him a fake smile before shooting him in the gut. He cried out and fell to the ground.
"You tell me." she kicked his gun away and dragged him into the hallway. She pushed him down the stairs just as the front door opened to reveal Mason and Connor with guns raised.
"Y-You..." they stared at the body in disbelief then up the stairs at Maggie who was still holding her gun up.
"Maggie you good?" Mason asked. She nodded before making her way down the stairs.
But her body had other plans as her eyelids fluttered and her body fell forward. Connor was quick to move forward and catch her in his arms.
"U...upstairs." she weakly pointed upstairs. Mason ran upstairs to find the triplets.
Maggie's body went limp in Connors arms and he began to freak.
"Oh god Jax is gonna kill us." he spoke.
"What!?" his eyes widened even more and he picked up the phone from the ground.
"H-Hey boss."
