Poem number 16: It's ok for boys and men to cry

First off Jesus wept,

So it's ok for boys and men to cry,

especially if the christian has to strive to be like this perfect man,

this perfect nigga,

and if the perfect nigga wept and drop tears for his dead friend lazarus,

than it's ok for boys and men to cry,

we just don't do it all the time,

me,

if i'm with a group of my friends and i feel my tear ducts filling up,

I isolate myself for two seconds,

and try and come back in the room cool calm and collected,

It's ok for boys and men to cry,

crying doesn't make you weak,

It just means you been holding that pain for too long,

you was being strong for too long,

It's ok for men and boys to cry,

crying doesn't make you soft,

It makes you human,

It's a reminder you're a person with feelings,

It's just an emotion,

some tears are tears of joy,

some tears are tears of hurt,

some tears are tears a pain,

some tears are tears of laughter,

it's ok for boys and men to cry,

crying is self truth,

a sign that something has pained you that much,

that the dam of water behind your eyes broke and a water leak occurred that a maintenance team needed to come in and do their job,

it's ok for boys and men to cry,

you're not a pussy for crying,

you're a pussy for making fun of someone crying,

it's ok for boys and men to cry,

for it's a sign of pain,

and pain is just weakness leaving the body,

so don't be afraid to drop that tear and grow stronger,

cause it's ok for boys and men to cry,

so when you see one cry,

don't criticize them for their tears,

but instead,

try and find out the reason why,

some tears are tears of mourning the loss of a loved one,

some tears are tears of celebrating new life,

some shed tears because someone they know or love decided to give their life to christ,

it's ok for boys and men to cry,

some cry because they achieved an accomplishment they never thought they would reach,

received an award they thought they never would get,

or got a promotion at a job that they'll never forget,

it's ok for boys and men to cry,

some cry because they beat the odds that was set against them,

defeated what was said would kill them,

and reached what everyone around them didn't see them reaching except for them in their vision,

it's ok for boys and men to cry,

and if you ever needed to find a few reasons why,

here's just a small list of things,

that says it's ok for boys and men to cry,

and this message especially goes double time towards Christians and those who want to push and spread and tell the others about the holy bible,

because Jesus was perfect,

and if we're supposed to be like this perfect nigga,

Jesus wept,

so I personally believe if you push the bible it is of a great disservice to every little boy and men to say it's not ok for little boys and men to cry,

because this nigga was perfect,

and he cried over the death of his friend,

it is perfectly ok,

for little boys and men to cry.
