Poem number 18: An Authors life

Writing a book is fun,

It's mentally exhilarating,

But don't forget while you're writting your book that you still got bills you need to be paying.

running left and right for supplies and connections,

and it's a cold world,

I advise you keep protection,

Stay close to your family,

and friends in whom in which you can make money breed, 

There will be nights you'll struggle to make ya tummy feed,

There will be nights you'll be full as if it's money you breath,

Some days you'll be carless,

some days you'll be whippin,

some days you'll be in church prayin,

some days you'll be in the streets money chasin,

Some days you have a drink or two to help you think on through,

and work you through your writers block,

you might enjoy a blunt of weed or three or maybe four,

you might gamble a bit to make some money more,

you might make 200 one night in scratch off tickets,

you might make not a dime one night in scratch off tickets,

you might get you a girlfriend,

or you might get dumped,

you might end on good terms,

you might spend some nights where your bills are all paid,

and some nights where you're sleeping in a homeless shelter,

you'll do a lot of researching,

I'm talkin by the ton loads,

you're gonna need to do that to make your non-fiction books factual,

be careful not to make plotholes in fiction books that you're makin tho,

some days you'll be in perfect health,

some days you'll be sick as a dog,

some days be motivated,

some days so aggravated,

some days so positive,

some days so agitated,

some days full of love,

some days full of hate,

some days full of hope,

some days full of faith,

some days full of doubt,

some days you'll wanna quit,

some days you'll look and sit,

and start lyin to yoself like you'll never get done with this book and shit,

days of perseverance,

cause that's the only option,

you're both farther than where you started,

and closer to your ending with every letter used in your literature project's doc. work,

plan your moves to make your money like clockwork,

you'll have romantic days,

you'll have some unromantic,

you'll have nights full of dances,

you'll have nights with no dances,

you'll have some days full of pain,

you'll have some days full of healin,

you'll have days where you're the hero,

you'll have days where you're the villain,

you'll have days that's full of peace,

you'll have days that's full of drama,

you'll have days that's full of laughter,

you'll have days that's full of tears,

you'll have days that's full of celebration,

you'll have days that's full of mourning,

you'll have days where you're betrayed,

just make sure you're not the one doin the betraying,

cause loyalty is where the power holds in all of your sayings,

as you're writing your books,

never stop praying,

cause tragedies and plagues can pop off while you're writing faithfully,

just keep writing,

while you setting and reaching yo goals faithfully,

some days will be full of success,

some days will be full of failures,

some days will be filled with hours of writers block,

some days the creativity will just flow,

some days where you don't know what information to start with for your non-fiction,

some days the highs,

some days the lows,

but it's gonna be a wild ride,

it's gonna be a fun run,

welcome to the author life,

now let yo story become undone.
