Erin sat in the dark, trying to twist her hands out of her handcuffs. "It's no use" she muttered to herself, letting her arms fall limply above her head. She didn't know how long ago she was taken or how long it had been since Jay left. It still felt fresh in her mind. She refused to use the term death in order to keep herself sane. Left sounded much better. Like he had gone on a vacation or something. Something he would come back from. "C'mon Erin, think positive." Erin said to herself, but between the growling of her stomach and the aching of her head and body, she couldn't think straight. She started to nod off when she heard a loud bang over head. She didn't believe it at first. Then, as if she was dreaming, she heard familiar voices calling her name. "Hank? Antonio? Anybody?" She tried to yell. Her throat was so dry she could barely whisper. "Somebody, please!"
They pulled up to the empty factory. Voigt, Jay, Antonio, and Ruzek climbed out of the cars, followed by SWAT officers. "Okay, on my go." Voigt called, standing in front of the main entrance of the factory. "3, 2, 1, go!" The door chrashed open with a loud bang. "Spread out! Search every room, box, and corner!" Voigt yelled out. He separated from the group, walking down a wide hallway. He reached the end and came to a flight of stairs leading down. The steps creaked under him, but he kept going. "Erin?! Can you hear me? Erin, call out!" He opened door after door, frantically calling her name. He came to the last door and taking a deep breath, he pushed it open.
"Erin?" Voigt couldn't believe his eyes. She lifted her head and looked at him in disbelief, tears filling her eyes. "Hank" she squeaked. He ran over to her and knelt beside her. "You're bleeding" he looked at the trickle of blood running down the side of her face. He then noticed the massive bruising all over her face and arms. "Oh my God Erin." He said in disbelief. "Where does it hurt?" Erin shook her head. "Everywhere" tears rolled down her cheeks as he looked her over carefully. "Don't move" he told her, reaching up to unlock the handcuffs. "I can't. Believe this." She stuttered as he gently lowered her arms to her side. "You don't know how glad I am to see you right know, kid" Voigt replied. Erin groaned, blood trickling out the corner of her mouth. Voigt's happy smile quickly changed to a look of frantic worry. "Where does it hurt?" He asked again." Erin's eyes slowly started to close. "Erin, Erin. Stay with me!" Erin's eyes continued to close. "Stay with me kid! C'mon! Stay awake!" Voigt grabbed his radio. "10-13 I need a bus at this location immediately. I repeat 10-13, officer down!!"
