"Any news?" Voigt asked around the room. Olinsky shook his head just as Antonio and Ruzek made their way up the stairs. "Anything?" Voigt asked doubtfully. "Nothing. Martin claims he had no idea that his son would do this or where he could be hiding them." Antonio sat down, defeated. "And you believe him? This whole thing could of been his idea for all we know." It was Ruzek's turn to shake his head. "We checked his visitors log at Rickers. He'd been in solitary for the past month for starting a fight in the yard. Before that, no visitors were recorded." "So what are we going to do now?" Atwater spoke up. "Sit around and wait for him to make the next move? The kid's a psychopath. And I don't know about you, but that idea doesn't sit too well with me." Voigt walked to the front of the room. "We did what he wanted. We sent him the video. He knows that he has to make the next move if he wants to get his dad back." Silence followed. Voigt turned and walked back into his office, silently closing the door behind him. As he sat down, he caught himself thinking about something that had happened the year before.

"I knew you were special the moment I saw you" Voigt said with a rare emotion in his voice.
"Stop it!" Erin laughed. "You're making me blush"
"I've got big plans for you kid." Voigt said in reply. "Now stay here, I'll be back in a second."
"Wait. That's your big idea? For me to stay in the car?" Erin called back at him. Voigt snickered as he closed the door.

He snapped back to reality when someone knocked loudly on his office door. "Voigt, get out here!" Antonio yelled. Voigt jumped out of his seat and ran out to the main office. "Alright say that again." Ruzek asked. The woman on the phone started again. "We've got a call from a convenient store owner saying that a man came in here claiming he was a detective. He said to call Intelligence."
