Jay clenched his teeth, his hands growing sweaty on the steering wheel. "Calm down man" Olinsky called from the backseat. He scratched at the itchy beard on his face, wishing he could rip it off. But even he had to admit that with it on, he looked identical to Martin, Lucas' father. "I'm just afraid I'll screw up" Jay broke the silence that had
filled the car. "Relax" Olinsky replied. "We've gone over this a dozen times. You'll do fine. And if you do happen to screw up, we've got the best cops in town covering our asses. We're not leaving here without her." Even though Jay seemed to relax at his words, Olinsky was worried. Voigt had put this plan together in his head last minute, barely able to think straight. The past few days had been torture for everyone, Voigt especially. Erin was like a daughter to Voigt. Everyone knew that. When he looked at her, he looked like a proud father. Olinsky knew, even though Voigt would never admit it, that he was worried. Lucas was evil, and Erin was at his mercy. "We're here" Jay said half to himself, snapping Olinsky out of his thoughts. Jay had been calm for the majority of the ride, but he tensed up when the building came into view. He steadied his shaking hands on the steering wheel, making a wide right turn into a parking lot. He clicked the car into park and looked around the large parking lot. Either than some garbage cans pooled in the corner, the parking lot was empty. Jay's watch beeped, signalling that it was 3 o'clock. It was time to get Erin back.
