The next few seconds were an inaudible blur.

The ambulance blared as people jumped in.

They pulled Roxana away, cramming her into the back of a police car.

JK stood crying into Jimin's shoulder, the two of them now alone together by their car.

Hosi stood with a few officers with recording devices and walkie-talkies. His teary bloodshot eyes were on the ground, and he kept nodding. "I never meant for her to die though, I was drunk and Roxana told me--" Carmela heard the muffled statement, and her stomach dropped, holding her breath for so long, she swayed on the spot.

She felt the police woman guide her towards a police car, something about breifly questioning at the station she'd said.

*BAM*

The ambulance doors slammed shut, and Carmela snapped out of it.

"HEY!" She sprinted towards the ambulance, the police woman on her heels.

The lights of the vehicle blinked and the siren began ringing, ready to leave immediately.

"STOP! WAIT!" Carmela screamed.

She crashed into the back of the ambulance, smacking the double doors with her palms, punching, kicking, shrieking, begging they would open up.

"LET ME IN! PLEASE! Please..."

But the ambulance sped forwards and drove away from her.

"No--" Carmela gasped, panicking.

She turned back at the police officer behind her.

"I have to go to the hospital. Can the questioning wait?" She said frantically.

"I was just about to drive you there myself, come on!"

They both ran to a police car and got inside. Sweat pooled on Carmela's neck, regardless of the cold temperature.

She felt dizzy.

"Oh my God..." She rubbed her forehead, her eyes burning with tears.

Hosi... Hosi... Hosi--

Tears flowed down her cheek, and suddenly it was very difficult to breathe. Her chest tightened, and she doubled over, clutching her chest.

"Carmela!" The officer grabbed onto Carmela's shoulder as she drove, shaking her. "Carmela! Breath through your nose! Take the seat belt off and sit up!"

The window next to Carmela slid down, and cool air rushed into her lungs, her hair flying into her face.

Carmela exhaled, coughing, wiping her weeping face.

"Carmela... what is your relation with Taehyung?" The officer asked gently.

Carmela squeezed her eyes shut, fists clenched.

"I didn't believe him. When he needed me the most, I left him. I didn't believe him--" She forced back her sobs. "He was someone I loved. And I left him because--" She held her face in her hands, peeling away her hair wet with tears and sweat.

"What about Roxana? And Hosi? Who is that--"

"Can you please just drive?!" She snapped.

"Alright, I apologize. We can talk about this later." The woman nodded. "Don't worry, we're almost there."

Carmela tilted her head back against the seat, and closed her swollen eyes.

Roxana... the mastermind. She really hated Tae. Even more than how much Carmela had hated him. And just because he didn't have feelings for her? Could someone really be this selfish and cruel?

She didn't even want to think about Hosi... just imagining his fake little innocent face made her want to rip all her hair out. Oh how he had fooled her... oh how he had fooled everyone, with his stories and emotional lashes and fights in the name of mourning for his step-sister Jules.

Carmela dug her nails under her knees.

He'd even tried to help her get to the bottom of this, putting on the act of righteousness and on the side of the truth. Lying and cheating, pure evil.

That's what he is. Evil.

There's no other explanation or justification as to why or how someone would do something like this. Killing one to get back at another? How could he have been so damn rotten and no one even knew?

The car halted, suddenly, and Carmela focused on hearing.

There were sirens around them. They had come to the immediate emergency entrance.

"Let's go!"
