Was Aunt Kass fucking serious right now? Literally... what?

"Wait, Au--"

"DON'T YOU DARE MOVE AN INCH MORE INTO MY HOUSE. OUT! GET OUT RIGHT NOW! OUT!" Aunt Kass shrieked, her voice shaking with fear, and she darted forwards. Carmela stumbled back . The house was pitch black and Aunt Kass was shining the phone light onto the ground for some stupid reason!

"NO, it's me Carm--"

"STOP MUMBLING AND GET OUT, OR I WILL CALL THE POLICE, ME CREAS O NO!"

"Can you please stop?! Aun--"

"ALRIGHT I'M CALLING! I'M CALLING THE POLICE RIGHT NOW--"

"WAIT, stop, it's me--"

"I'M CALLING! IT'S DIALING--"

"FUCKING STOP, AUNT KASS, IT'S ME! CARMELA! YOUR NIECE!" Carmela screamed, panting. It went quiet for a moment.

"Mija? Ay, Dios mio! What are you doing here so early? I thought you were coming later today?" Aunt Kass fumbled with her phone and Carmela squinted as the flash blinded her eyes.

"Argh, get that out of my eyes! Can you turn the lights on? PLEASE?" She covered her face were her hands and Aunt Kass quickly turned her phone away.

"Oh, sorry, Carmelitta, perdoname! I thought you were a ladrona!" Her aunt quickly stepped over and the lights clicked on over them.

Carmela sighed heavily through her nose as she stood, peering at Aunt Kass's sweet face. Fatigue tugged at her drooping eyes and her body felt more sore than ever before. Aunt Kass rushed over with a wide grin, hugging her tightly in her arms.

"I missed you, darling. How was the trip? Are you hungry?" She stroked her hair as Carmela rested her face in Aunt Kass's shoulder. Her heart trembled and she felt her nose sting, but she didn't want to cry right now. She didn't want to tell her aunt about how much she was hurting inside. How much... he... hurt her.

It was ridiculous anyway. Who cries over a boy?

"It was great, Aunt Kass. I missed you too." Carmela pulled away from her, smiling softly. "I just wanna sleep right now."

"You're not hungry? But it was a long car ride! And look at you! You've gotten so skinny, did they feed you over there?" Aunt Kass's worried eyes sped over her body and Carmela sighed.

"I'm literally the same, Aunt Kass. I don't feel like eating right now. Just lemme sleep please." Carmela yawned and turned away from her, dragging her feet to her room.

"Okay! But I will warm some food and put it on the kitchen counter in case you change your mind, mija!" Aunt Kass called after her, as Carmela shut the door to her room.

She dropped her bag to the floor and just stood there. Staring at the ground.

"You're right. I don't fucking love you."

"Ahh.." Carmela dragged her hands through her hair, sniffing. She felt her clothes stick to her body and quickly tore them off. She opened the door and stepped out of her room, walking across the hallway into the bathroom. A quick shower seemed nice. The water would hide her tears. Then she wouldn't have to admit to crying over a stupid boy.

A warm sensation sprinkled over her as she stood under the shower, staring at her awkwardly shaped feet. Her eyes travelled up to her knees, and then to her thighs, and then the scars--
