A/N: Rip Colby's POV, here we go!

I halfass edited this because it's almost 1am and I got up at 8am so I'm tired af. I did my best, but if I missed something lmk and I'll fix it. I haven't updated in a hot minute so I don't want this finished draft to just sit overnight 👀

*Leighton's POV*

Placing the last article of clothing into my duffle bag was a weird feeling.

I kept looking around the room, almost like I was trying to take everything in before I would hopefully never see it again.

I grabbed my bag and with one last look at the room, I closed the door behind me and made my way down to the entrance.

It all felt so weird.

"Good afternoon Leighton" Cheryl, the front desk lady said with a cheery smile on her face.

"Good afternoon Cheryl" I replied, glancing towards the front door.

"You're being picked up, right?" She asked and I nodded, "Yeah, he should be here soon"

I talked with her for a little while, waving back a few of the people passing me.

It's sort of bittersweet to say goodbye.

Sure I was happy to go back to my own life.. but I made friends here. It always sucked to see people walk through the front doors for the first time. I knew that feeling, and I hated it.

"Hey Leigh! Going home today?" Hannah asked and I nodded, a soft smile on my face. "I'm happy for you Leighton! Go home day is always fun" She smiled and my heart dropped to my stomach as I tried to keep a smile on my face.

She made it sound like I was a puppy getting adopted..

"Yeah I uh.. sorry" I muttered, fiddling with my fingers.

Goodbye's were weird.

"Don't worry about  it Leighton! I'm happy for you, and I'll be out of here when I'm ready" She gave me a reassuring smile and I mentally sighed, wishing I could have her optimistic outlook.

I offered her a hug which she took happily, and I held her close, not wanting to leave her here.

It wasn't a bad place.. I just knew what it was like to befriend someone, and then they leave, and I didn't want that for her.

"Maybe when I get out of here, we can hang out again, but go do great things, okay? Make me proud!" She told me, hugging me again, practically squishing me.

"I'll try. Make me proud in here" I told her and she nodded, giving a small wave before heading towards the stairs.

I took a deep breath, looking down at my celestial tattoo, rubbing my thumb over Logan's moon.

I miss you.

I got lost in a conversation with Cheryl that I didn't even hear the front door open until I heard Gemma's squeal.

I quickly spun around, a grin on my face. "Gemma!" I squealed, grabbing her from Colby.

"I see how it is" He teased and I grinned, switching her to my other hip before hugging him after kissing the top of my baby's head.

"Thank you for picking me up"

"I told you I would. We're happy to have you back" He said and I smiled, looking down at Gemma.

"Did you have a fun time with Colby?" I asked her, my heart melting at the grin on my baby's face.

I can't believe she's a smiley giggly baby already... Time flies.
