Please read the first book 'Gregor and the Prophecy of War' before this one.
I hope you enjoy it.

Gregor left the breakfast table and quickly made his way down to the abandoned nursery where Hazard was supposed to meet him. They had planned to meet there that morning to talk about Nerissa's new found prophecy.

"Look right here. 'Over the moon'. That's what I think the prophecy is referring to.

Over the moon

Over the moon so high
The lonely birds fly
Up in the sky so high
Soaring far from the human eye

O the wonders of the overland
So high up
The cities so grand
And animals so small

Over the moon so high
The lonely birds fly
Up in the sky so high
Soaring far from the human eye

O the wonders of the overland
All so free
With so little demand
Like on 153

Over the moon so high
The lonely birds fly
Up in the sky so high
Soaring far from the human eye

The song meant nothing to Gregor and made no sense. It was different for Hazard however. This song was part of the little he remembered for his father Hamnet before he died.

"Nothing here makes sense."

"Yes it does. At least to me. The second stanza is talking about a book sandwich wrote 'Wonder of the Overland' and the forth I believe is telling us the page to look on," Hazard said.

Gregor had never taken this into consideration because he didn't know this book existed.

"We'll I know that 153 is the code they use during wars to signify that whatever soldiers that were on the front line were free to go ," Gregor said, "What would it take to get this book anyway."

"The book is in the restricted section of the library," Hazard said as he finished scribbling down the song, "It's only open to direct members of the royal family. So even I can't enter."

"Guess we'll have to hold this off till the wedding," Gregor muttered more to himself thay Hazard.

"Wedding? What wedding?," Hazard asked.

Gregor had forgotten he wasn't informed yet, "Mine and Luxa's. You weren't supposed to know yet but it's happening next week."

"Oh congratulations, we'd better get going before they send out a search team for us," Hazard said.

They were all supposed to meet at the war room to start out deciphering the new prophecy. They got to the room the same time that most people did and sat down.

"I think we should start right away," Vikus said, "Let us begin with the repeating stanza.

Come one, come all,
Or you will fall,
Make you light shine bright
Like the moon so far in height

"I'm assuming it's saying we are all going to have to come together for this," Luxa said.

"The part with light is probably say we should make our army out of the most lively," Ripred said.

"Now the second stanza."

Here will come foreign brutes
Don't miss you shoot
Carry their loot
Don't forget your boot

"Now that is just a bunch of rubbish," Gregor said.

"Foreign brutes...," Howard began trailing off in thoughts, "That's all I understand."

"What do you think it means," Hazard asked more to Gregor than anyone else.

"I don't know," he replied.

"Let's move on," Vikus said.

Recruit those of almost forgotten
For without them no light will be gotten
Two of who considered begotten
One regarded as rotten

"Three almost forgotten that have been on quests with us before I'm assuming," Howard said. He was always the one to understand prophecies before them.

"Who would we consider rotten?" Luxa asked.

"I know," Hazard said lowly.

"Who boy," Ripred.

"Temp."
