When they arrived at bc Miravet's door it was obvious she wasn't expecting them.
"Look who finally showed up. We're just about done with the basic design. Come in, try them on."
Gregor followed her into the room. Luxa, again, had been separated from him. Off to the side there was a doorway covered with curtains.
"That's where you're going to try on your clothes," Miravet said, "Go ahead."
Gregor went into the little room and found his clothes neatly folded in a pile waiting for him. He sorted through them, quickly finding out it was a classic tuxedo with a tie which apparently was a big deal in the Underland based of the assists' reaction.
"Does it fit right?" Miravet asked, circling him slowly.
"Yea. I think so," Gregor said.
"It's good then. Just a few finality's. Come back tomorrow or next," she said dismissing him.
Luxa didn't meet him at the door and he figured she had a huge fancy dress that probably took a while to put on. Gregor decided he would go find Hazard in his free time them remembered his family. He found them sitting in the living room of the luxury room with Vikus. They had been given rooms in the royal quarters as Gregor's family and he spent the rest of his afternoon helping them settle in.
After dinner, Hazard hastily caught Gregor before Luxa could catch up to them. Where had he been? Gregor didn't know. He just popped out of no where.
"Come Gregor. I want us to talk to Nerissa about what we know. Maybe she might have something to say," Hazard shortly explained.
Gregor didn't object and followed him down the hallways to the Prophecy room . They found Nerissa sitting there, staring at her favourite prophecy, whispering to herself. She looked up hearing their footsteps.
"Hello Gregor. Hello Hazard. What would you two want?" She asked.
"We think we know something about the prophecy." Hazard began. "Could you- ."
"Oh no no. I am not allowed to have anything to do with the deciphering. You both have to do it alone with your bonds," she said.
"We can't tell anyone else?" Gregor asked. It would be nice to have someone like Ripred knowing and helping them with this.
"No. Of course not. I don't want too much people knowing about it," she said.
They ended it there, giving up on getting any help and decided it was better to go to bed. They did have a wedding in three days after all. The next morning at breakfast Luxa invited Gregor and his sisters to join them in training. Boots agreed to watch them and Lizzie wanted to try out and see if she had any skills. They went down to the arena right after breakfast. As usual, they started off warm up by running laps around the arena. Others were surprised that Lizzie could keep up but Gregor wasn't. His whole family was always good at running and track. After running they started their main combat. Gregor, Luxa and Mareth decided they would help Lizzie and see if she was any good. After teaching her the basics, they made her go against Luxa who obviously beat her. According to Mareth she was pretty good for a beginner.
"Is sword fighting your only form of combat?" she asked after her second round with Luxa.
"No. We have archery. But no one is really skilled enough to do it," Mareth said.
"I can. At least I think I can. I've taken lessons before and been told I'm pretty good," she said excitedly. "Can I see?"
Mareth took them over to an empty corner of the arena. He went into some sort of storage room off to the side and come out with a bow, a quiver of arrows and five targets. He set them up in a line about 6 feet from them and handed the bow and arrow to Lizzie.
Mareth was about to explain how they work but she wasn't listening. She pulled out the bow full arms length away from her. She carefully set an arrow in position, slowly taking aim she released the arrow. Four more followed immediately after all hitting each one of the five targets.
