Chapter 10

He then made his way to the luxury room where Luxa, Aurora , Ares, Vikus, Ripred and Eurepedes were waiting for him and everyone else.

"Congratulations kid," Ripred greeted him sarcastically.

"So what now?" Gregor asked, ignoring Ripred's comment.

"Now we wait until the arena is ready for the party," Vikus said.

By now Tetris has arrived with Hera, Hades and a bat he'd never met before. Nike and Howard came in right after Vikus finished talking with his parents, Boots and Nerissa trailing behind.

"Who are we waiting for now?" Luxa asked Vikus.

"It's just Hazard and Lizzie now I believe," he replied.

Gregor heard Boots chuckle a bit as they both walked in and Lizzie glared at her.

What was that about, Gregor thought.

"Did you have a chance to get it?" Hazard whispered as he sat next to Gregor.

"Yea, I have it," Gregor said.

Hazard grinned in return while Ripred took the stage.

"So most of us know about this new prophecy but Gregor's family doesn't and we have an update. Temp is being brought back tomorrow meaning we have one of the members of what would be a quest if we needed one. And no one knows anything about the prophecy yet." No one replied. "That's all we have for now then. You're all dismissed until the party in the arena where we will meet."

Luxa stayed behind in the luxury room with her bonds while Gregor left with Lizzie,Hazard and their bonds.

"Where do you have the book?" Tetris asked.

"In my room. We can look at it now if you like," Gregor said.

"We should do it now we have time," Ares agreed.

"Wait what book?" Lizzie asked confused.

"It's nothing," Hazard replied as they got to his room.

Gregor pulled out the book from under his pillow. "What page was it?"

"153," Ares said.

Gregor flipped the pages until he found page 153.

"Take the whole page out," Hazard said.

"But there's nothing on it. It's the end of the chapter it's blank," Gregor said.

"So was the song wrong?" Tetris suggested.

"No. It wasn't. It had to be right," Hazard pressed on.

"Maybe it's those stuff where you need UV lights for it or something," Lizzie said in the shadows. They had forgotten she was there.

"What is a UV light?" Hazard asked.

"How would you get one anyways," Gregor said.

"I have the app on my phone. We were doing something for science on it," Lizzie said turning on her phone.

"It's not dead?"

"It shouldn't be. I haven't used it the whole time I was here," she had opened the app and turned on the purple flash. The page was still mostly blank except for a riddle smack in the middle.

"Classic cryptic Sandwich," Gregor said.

"Where do you think it could be talking about?" Ares asked.

"I mean it really depends. If it means to the rats it would be where I met Fangor and Shed," Gregor said. *please tell me if I got the names wrong😭*

"So do we go there?" Hazard said. Everyone turned to Gregor.

"Fine. But quickly."

They split up into 2 groups to look less suspicious. Gregor and Ares and Hazard, Lizzie and Tetris.
