The next morning, Isla woke up a little earlier than planned from her family home in the city. She looked outside and saw that the sun was rising and she smiled staring at it, thinking that the day was going to be alright. Knowing that she had a lot to be thankful for. She found herself getting dressed and putting on her long, blue, lace dress and putting in a beautiful blue bow to go along with it to tie her long dark raven hair back.

She looked in the mirror and smiled for a moment. She was hoping for nothing but the best for herself on that day. Because she didn't know what could have happened the night before. That morning, Isla found herself walking in the city, trying to keep herself away from anyone that looked slightly dangerous. She looked around and saw all of the flags and the soldiers marching in the city. Isla had not kept up with the war, and she wanted to keep herself focused on the war because it was the thing that was most talked about by everyone. But she didn't have a lot of people to talk to. But Isla found herself relieved to make a friend in that man Jamie, she wanted to remember his name and sometimes she forgot his name.

Isla looked around and walked into the alley and started to think about her night was going the night before. She was dancing with everyone, and she found herself spending time with people and getting to know so many people. Which was something she found herself not used to. But then she met Jamie, the man who saved her life when she didn't know she needed it.  All she was hoping for was the chance to see him again. She wanted to do nothing but thank him. But she didn't know when she would ever see him again. Isla then got out of the alley, trying her best to make her way out without any help from anyone. But then when she got out of the alley, she had found herself surrounded by small cottages in the city. They were small, and lovely and filled with flowers everywhere. And she continued to walk around and then she looked over and saw that Jamie was getting out of one of the homes, with another girl. The girl she recognized from the party.

It was like she was getting deja vu.

And she was missing him more and more the more she was thinking about him. Mabel looked and saw that Isla was in the neighborhood and smirked at her. Isla looked over and smiled at her. Mabel then looked over at Jamie and walked into Isla's direction.

"Hey little one..." Mabel said walking over to her. Isla was finding herself getting more and more nervous with Mabel coming into her direction, "It's been a while."

"Yes...it has..." Isla said shyly, "But not really."

"You know..." Mabel said walking over to her closer, "Your eyes were all over him last night... and now too...what are you thinking?"

Isla looked over at Mabel and she was slightly confused, she didn't know anything that Mabel was saying. But she never meant any harm. And didn't have any intentions that Mabel believed.

"Look...you may continue your fairytale..." Mabel started, "But it's not with a man that isn't yours...alright..."

"I wasn't trying to..." Isla started to say until Mabel turned around and looked over to see Jamie going inside, Isla watched Jamie go inside and found herself growing to be more anxious.

"I understand...he's an attractive man... I wouldn't blame you if you want him..." Mabel started to say until the next words came out of Isla's mouth.

"I'm not here for him...well, I am..." Isla said meekly, "I'm just here to thank him...for last night..."

"Oh?" Mabel asked, "Well... whatever Jamie Hamilton did...it didn't seem like a good deed."

Mabel started to think, think about whatever that Jamie could have done that would make her feel the way she was. Mabel looked over and saw Jamie walking back outside. Jamie saw Isla and walked over to both of them.
