The night started to get darker and Isla started to notice that it was starting to snow a little bit, Isla didn't know how she was able to see the snow in this dark weather and still manage to be spending time with Jamie for the long amount of time that she was. Isla looked at Jamie and she started to go outside, Jamie followed her and he felt some snow going onto his shoulder, he looked at his shoulder and smiled as the snow started to fall even more. He didn't remember the last time he saw snow, in a calming area. It was the most peaceful thing he had seen, especially with the nighttime growing.

He wanted to enjoy the peace of being in the snow. But then he started to think about the time and how late it was. He started to think about what Mabel would say if she knew how long they were spending time together. And Isla started to wonder the same thing as well. Isla watched as the snow fell, and she felt snow going onto her hair and she couldn't believe how lovely it felt.

"You and I should probably get back," Isla said, "Mabel is going to wonder where we are, and she will probably get suspicious."

Jamie smiled and laughed as he heard those words, he didn't know how Mabel was going to react. There was so much that they needed to think about with them both being gone for so long. Jamie wondered how Mabel was going to feel about it, and he knew that she was going to be suspicious.

"What do you think Mabel is going to say?" Isla asked,

"For starters. She's going to be mad at us both." Jamie answered, "But me mostly."

Isla didn't want to think too much about it, and neither did Jamie. But he felt as if there was something that he needed to worry about.

"You alright?" Isla asked Jamie,

"I'm sorry... but do you ever get that feeling that something bad is going to happen..."

"A lot..." Isla answered, she wanted to do her best to make sure that Jamie understood. But he did. He understood Isla, and Isla understood Jamie. Jamie did feel like there was something about Isla, something that was going to use for him in the long run. He had saved her numerous times, which was something he was glad that he had done.

"You know I would never admit this to anyone..." Jamie started to say, "I am glad that I met you, and I'm glad that I rescued you from the alley, and from the factory workforce..."

"I'm glad too..." Isla confessed. She truly cared about Jamie and knew that he cared about her as well. She wanted to explore more with Jamie, and not just their friendship, but she wanted to hide her feelings for him until she knew it was right. But Jamie knew that there was something on her mind, something on her mind that she didn't want to admit to herself. But Jamie wanted her to be open. As the two of them walked back, Jamie brought up the topic of whatever was on her mind. He could tell that Isla was feeling anxious, he didn't know why and that was something he needed to figure out, because he wanted to help her.

"Remember what I said," Jamie started, "About you being more open with people around you,"

"Yes?" Isla asked,

"Now... tell me what's going on..."

Isla didn't know what to say, and she was thinking carefully about the next words that were about to come out of her mouth. She was scared, she didn't want to admit to him because she didn't want him to think of her as weak, but she knew deep down that he would never think any less of her.

"Isla..." Jamie said, "Can you tell me what's going on..."

"I..." Isla started trying to think, "I don't know if I can...because then that will get you in trouble..."

"Whatever it is, it can be worse than the things I've done...you're looking at a man who committed numerous crimes."

Isla started to think about what she was about to say, and she started to think carefully about everything that was on her mind. But she wouldn't admit it to him because she was worried about what was going to happen to her in the long run, and she also didn't want Jamie to think of her any differently. She just felt as if she couldn't say anything, Jamie was feeling disappointed that she wasn't saying anything, but in a way he could feel bad for her and really understand her.
