CHAPTER 33

Not Almost Ended Battle, Loses lives, They Escaped

Author's POV

Habang tinatahak ni Zavie ang daan palabas ng gusali na iyo, nakita niya ang dalawang lalaki na may bitbit na kung sino at dinala sa isang silid. Nang akmang lalabas na sila, agad siyang nagtago sa gilild ng pader. Hindi naman siya napansin ng mga ito at tuluyang lumabas na doon. Sunud-sunod na may pumuputok na baril kaya naisip na nyang sina Stefan iyon. It must be them...they're surely looking for me and save me from this creepy place. She thought.

Nang mawala na sa paningin niya ang mga lalaki, pinuntahan niya ang silid kung saan sila pumasok kanina. Sumilip siya sa bintana para tingnan kung sino man ang dinala sa loob nun. Nakayuko lamang yung lalaki habang nakagapos ang mga kamay at paa nito sa upuan. Tiningnan niya maigi iyon at naging pamilyar sa kanya ang taong yun. Base on his grey hair, he's already late 70's and her upper body is just like...dad! Oh no! It's him! It's Dad! she thought nervously.

Nagmamadali niyang sinubukang buksan yung pintuan pero nakalocked iyon. Agad siyang umisip ng paraan para mailigtas ang kanyang ama mula roon. Makalipas ang ilang minto, nagtagumpay siyang buksan ang silid. Agad niyang nilapitan ang amang walang malay.

"Dad? Dad? Are you okay? Wake up. We have to leave here before someone sees us."-she said while removing the rope on him.

"P-Princess? I-Is that you? How'd you find me here?"-he asked.

"Dad, listen. Let's leave here first. We don't have enough time. Come on."-she said and helped him to stand up. Nanghihina na maigi ang katawan nito dahil sa natamong pambubugbog ng mga lalaki ng ilang araw sa kanya.

"Trying to escape again, Zavie? Do you think you can just leave here with your dad because Voss and his group were here? You are not too lucky for that."-Señorita Amirah said as Zavie and her dad were about to escape. She pulled out a gun and pointed it at her.

"D-Don't. P-Please."-he pleaded but she only give him a smirk.

"Please? *laugh sarcastic* Did you both think na madadaan niyo ako dyan? Of course not. I'm not stupid, old man! You know what exactly happened in the past and you totally ruined my life because of that bitch! You don't have any idea how I suffered! You killed my parents!"-she yelled as she cried. 

In anger, she fired her gun but it wasn't Zavie who caught the bullet. Instead, it was her father lying lifeless now on the floor. Sinalo niya iyon para hindi ang anak niya ang matamaan ng baril. But another gun heard. May bumaril din kay Señorita Amirah mula sa likod nito. Nang tuluyang bumagsak ito sa sahig, bumungad dito si Allison habang hawak pa rin ang baril nito. Sinalo ni Zavie ang ama habang umiiyak dahil naghahabol na ito ng hininga mula sa natamong tama ng baril.

"D-Dad. Please? Don't die. P-Please...ikaw na lang ang natira sa amin."-she pleaded while crying. Sunod na nagsidatingan sina Stefan doon. Nagulat sila sa nangyari.

"I-I finally fulfilled my promise to your mom. And I've saved you from someone who wanted to kill you. I-I love you, my princess. Including the twins."-her dad said before he dies.

Nilapitan siya ni Stefan at niyakap. They lost her dad, too. When through the years, he always sacrificed himself for his children.

"I'm sorry. I'm too late to save him."-Stefan said as he let her bury her face in his arms.

"The battle is finally over. We killed the rest but Yael and Rowan, we couldn't find them. I guess they'd escaped."-Rhazer

"Let's leave here. And go home."-Allison

A/N: Alam kong expected nyo si Stefan o kaya si Zavie ang mamatay dito, noh? But I love them both kaya hindi ko ginawa. Malay nyo sa book 3 pa pala HAHAHAH anyway, sorry kung medyo maiksi lang kasi I'm not actually into some action scenes ganun kaya hindi sya gaanong intense. But I hope nagustuhan nyo pa rin po.
