After a Few Years, Changes, Proposal, and Her Answer
Zavanya's POV
-------> A Few Years Later<------
After what happened that night, everything had changed...a lot. Ilang buwan din pagkatapos mamatay ni dad, we'd graduated from college and naging kami ulit ni Stefan. As of now, we're 5 years and a half. We both still love each other despite what happened in the past. At sinabi na rin sa akin ni Stefan at ng kambal ang lahat ng nangyari even before it happened. Mayroon na rin kaming stable na mga trabaho ngayon. Ipinasa sakin ni Stefan ang isa sa mga kumpanyang pagmamay-ari niya. Habang ganun din ang ginawa niya kay Rhazer. Si Hailey naman isa ng successful pilot.
Bigla akong napatalon sa gulat nung may tumatawag sa phone ko. Kinakabahan ako at hindi ko mawari kung bakit. Si Hailey pala yung tumatawag kaya sinagot ko kaagad iyon.
"Hello?"
'Ate! Come here quick! Si Voss...nabaril siya!'-para akong nabuhusan ng malamig na tubig ng marinig ko iyon.
"W-Where is he? Tell me please!"-I yelled as my tears began to fall quickly.
'At CMC building. I'll text you what floor, okay? Hurry!'-she said and I immediately hang up.
Hindi na ako nagsayang pa ng oras. Agad akong nagmaneho papunta agad doon. Wala pang ilang minuto ng makarating ako. I checked her message and she told me that it is on 18th floor. Dali-dali akong pumunta sa elevator at pinindot ang palapag na iyon.
But when I reached it, iilan lang ang mga taong andoon. I couldn't find them so I decided na umakyat na ng hagdan. Napakunot-noo ako ng mapansin ang ilang kandila na nakasindi at mga pulang petals ng rosas. What are these? Is this kind of joke?

Dahan-dahan akong naglakad paakyat habang pinagmamasdan pa rin iyon. Umabot iyon hanggang sa rooftop ng building. Madilim kaya bigla akong nakaramdam ng takot. Pero may biglang nagpatugtog ng violin at napansin ko na lang na napaliligiran na ako ng magandang tugtugin.
"Hi, there, my love, my baby girl."-my heart races so fast as a very familiar voice spoke behind me. I turned around and I saw him. He holds a bouquet of daisies while staring close at me.
"W-Why...I thought...something bad happened to you?"-I asked and he just chuckled.
"You really do love me, huh? Anyway, may I have a dance with you, baby girl?"-he said then handed me the flowers and offers his hand to me. I nodded and accepted it. I gasped when he pulled me closer to him, his hand on my waist and his eyes only memorizing my face. Then he lead me to the center as the music continues.
"Akala ko kung anong nangyari sayo. Akala ko nangyari na yung kinatatakutan ko."-biglang nabasag ang boses ko ng sabihin ko iyon. Hinawakan niya ng may pag-iingat ang mukha ko at bahagyang pinunasan ang luha ko.
"Don't cry, okay? Nothing bad happened to me so don't worry too much. I just like to surprise you and not hurt you. Hush now, baby girl."-he said as he made me stare only at him with assuring in his eyes.
"I-Ikaw kasi eh. Alam mo namang mabilis akong mag-alala sayo. Huwag mo ng uulitin iyon, ha?"-naiiyak na tugon ko pero binigyan niya lang ako ng matamis na ngiti.
"Okay, okay. I won't do that again. But with one condition."-he said while wearing a playful smile. Tinaasan ko siya ng kilay.
"Condition? Mayroon na naman nun? For what?"-takang tanong ko sa kanya.
"Be my wife."-he said. Tila ba hindi agad nagproseso ang sinabi niya sa utak ko kaya hindi ako nakapagsalita agad. His face changed into a worried reaction.
"Are you alright? Am I that fast? I-I'm sorry then."-he worriedly said. I caress his face and smile.
"No. I'm fine, of course. I love to be your wife, Stefan."-I said that made him stop for a second. His eyes shone through the night and smiled widely before he pulled me into a hug. Nakahanda na ako...nakahanda ng gumawa ng bagong buhay at kabanata kasama ka, Stefan. At bumuo ng masayangpamilya sayo.
"So that means..."-I nodded.
"It's a yes! I'll marry you, of course!"-I said happily.
"Damn! I love you so much, baby girl, my love, and soon to be my beautiful wife!"-he screamed in joy and I feel so happy right now. After that, he kissed me and put a silver-gold infinity ring on my finger.
"I love you too, Stefan. Always."-I said and hugged him tightly. We suddenly heard loud applause behind us. It's my twin siblings and our friends.
"Congratulations to both of you! We're so happy! We planned it successfully!"-bati kaagad nina Hailey.
"Did you guys plan this?"-I asked and they all nodded.
"Yes. Did you like it?"-Jheiden asked. I hugged her and nodded. I thanked them all for the wonderful surprise they made just for me and my fiancee.
