They had been together for years. Since high school really. Casey and Angel were the power couple everyone wanted to be like. But what they didn't know was that, behind closed doors, Casey and Angel were in the most toxic relationship and they couldn't stand each other.

"Angel let me go!" Casey shouted at her boyfriend who was holding onto her arm for dear life.

"NO! You can't just walk away from me like that! I didn't mean to piss you off!"

Casey rolled her eyes and snatched her arm away from Angel, "You sit on the stupid game, all day long and don't pay any attention to me unless I'm in the kitchen making you a sandwich!!"

Angel stared at his girlfriend in disbelief, "That. Is so not true, Casey. You can't put this all on me. You never pay me any mind when you're watching your movies or going out with friends! And what are you so dressed up for anyway?" Angel asked.

Casey was dressed in a beautiful little black dress with a rhinestone headband and black Nikes. Casey had always been more on the plump side but was always confident enough to wear what she wanted. She never let anyone's opinion about her body define who she was or who she would EVER be. [ A/N: And you shouldn't either my loves. You're beautiful or handsome just the way you are]

Casey stared at her boyfriend in disbelief, "You're joking right?"

Angel shook his head.

Casey rolled her eyes, "This is just like you. Typical Angel!!"

Angel rolled his eyes and scoffed, "Girl just tell me!! It can't be that important that you need to go out instead of making dinner right now!"

Casey scoffed and grabbed her black crossbody and phone.

"Where do you think you're going?" Angel asked.

Casey walked down the stairs completely ignoring him. Angel stood for a moment then ran after his girlfriend in anger. He grabbed a nearby vase sitting by the stairs and threw it at Casey's head.

It missed her by an inch.

Casey screamed and turned around to see her boyfriends face red with anger, "I said, where do you think you're going?!"

Casey burst into tears, "OH FOR CRYING OUT LOUD ANGEL!! TODAY IS OUR SEVEN YEAR ANNIVERSARY!!"

Angel froze and looked at his girlfriend. Apology was written in the pupils of his eye, "W-what?"

Casey wiped the tears from her face and grabbed her jacket, "Yeah. Today is the day we furst started dating seven years ago."

"Casey, I'm so sorry-"

"Save it, Angel." Casey said, holding up her hand, "We're done."

Angel walked towards his now ex-girlfriend and tried to grab her hand but she pulled away, "Don't touch me."

"Casey, I-"

"Don't touch me!!!"

Angel stared down at the floor with tears in his eyes and backed away from Casey. Casey grabbed her keys and opened the front door, "I'll be back to get my stuff tomorrow. Have a nice life, Angel."

Just like that, Casey was gone. She hopped into her car and left. Angel yelled in frustration and began smashing everything in his path. Eventually he grabbed a bottle of whiskey and drank himself further into his depression.

After Casey came and got her stuff the next day, he never saw her again and eventually drank himself to death.

Casey on the other hand, found herself and who she truly wanted to be. She traveled to Paris and The Caribbean where she met the true love of her life. The man God ordained for her to have. His name was Michael and he showed her what true love was supposed to be like. He never raised his voice at her and always made her breakfast and dinner. He stuck buy her side when she had severe panic attacks and terrible nightmares. But most importantly, he most of his free time with her and payed attention to her 24/7. He allowed her to be with her friends and just to have fun. He even went to the gym with her and she lost a little bit of weight. He always told her how beautiful she was and how no matter what size, he would always love her.

The two of them had a happy life and ended up adopting two kids and having three biological ones.

I guess its safe to say that happy endings can exist
