RWBY: Reincarnated on Remnant

Chapter 9- Just Like Old Times

It was currently 12 p.m. in the afternoon. After Team BANE had pranked their friends 2 days ago, they thought it would be a wise idea to prank each other. This action turned into a real prank war that escalated so quickly it got the entire student body involved. The entire academy effectively became an active warzone. Lines were drawn, it was friend against friend, sibling pranking sibling. Things got so chaotic that even some of the professors got involved. This is why Team BANE were here now, in the cafeteria, after 3 hours of non-stop cleaning. This is where they had laid their final trap for the enemy. Needless to say, Professor Goodwitch was not pleased with the mess. In hindsight, perhaps it wasn't the best idea to combine C4 explosives with ketchup and mustard. 

Noah: *puts mop down* "Finally finished. Didn't think it would have taken this long to clean up the mess."

Andrew: *wipes sweat off* "Yeah well if you didn't put mayonnaise in my M&M's, none of this would have happened."

Eric: *sits in chair* "You're still upset about that? Come on dude, it was a funny prank!"

Brody: *drinks water* "That was not a prank! That was a crime against humanity is what that was!"

Before things could escalate any further, Teams RWBY, JNPR, and CFVY entered the cafeteria.

Jaune: "Hey guys, how's the cleaning going?"

Noah: "It was exhausting work, but we're finally done."

Ruby: "Same with us. We were just about to head into town to check out the preparations for the Vytal Festival. Want to come with us?"

Andrew: "Yeah sure, why not? Probably would be best to get out of Professor Goodwitch's hair for a while." *snickers* 

10 Minutes Later

Teams BANE, RWBY, JNPR, and CFVY were currently walking down the streets of Vale, looking at the decorations for the upcoming Vytal Festival.

Weiss: *excited* "These decorations are absolutely breathtaking!"

Eric: "It's pretty nice, reminds me of the holidays back home."

Velvet: "Does it? What was your favorite?"

Brody: "That would be the 4th of July. Our country's Independence Day." 

Noah: "Hell yeah, the one thing that's better than the barbecues were the house parties. Oh man the house parties. We would drink until we drop."

???: "That sounds like a lot of fun!" 

Reacting on instinct, Team BANE pulled out their concealed SIG Sauer M17s and aimed at the unwanted newcomer who was hanging upside down from a street light.

???: *gets down and puts hands up* "Whoa, hey there! I mean no harm!"

Blake: *slightly panicked* "Guys it's ok! Sun's a friend, you can put your guns down!"

Andrew: *holsters M17* "Sorry dude, force of habit. But seriously, don't sneak up on people like that." 

Sun: "That's a habit?! Jeez, where did you guys grow up to have pulling a gun on someone as a habit?!" 

Eric: "A very small town far outside Mistral's borders." 

Sun: "Bandits?" 

Brody: "Bandits. Say what you want about the Grimm, but at least most of them can't shoot back." *shakes Sun's hand* "I'm Brody, and these are my brothers Eric, Noah, and Andrew."
